I have this headset but there is one BIG problem with it. I have Win11 on PC and the GAMEDAC looses USB connection during the Windows start. And I had a straight beep sound during Windows start. Everytime I have to re-connect the GAMEDAC with the USB port. The prob still exist until now. Latest firmware is installed BUT there is no solution from steelseries.

Huh that’s weird, this was the first 35x review where I’ve seen the headset come with a hard zipper case. All I’ve ever seen it come with is a little bag to put them in, I do know however the 50x’s come with that same exact hard case.

this is the best-LOOKING headset i could get my hands on not too flashy but still stylish. Only issue is the mountain of software issues i get connecting this to my pc and the battery life is atrocious, I swapped the battery for a larger one and it still doesn't last that long. Bluetooth acted weird when using it on pc, had to fiddle a lot with it cause it kept disconnecting or not wanting to work. That was the first month it randomly started working fine ever since just turn it on and it connected perfectly. Then the internal plastic piece broke, and this is pretty common as I've seen a bunch of videos 3d printing replacement pieces I just used super glue and baking soda to mold it. The whole plastic broke along the same area just under the hinge, the glue i made was still sturdy but its own plastic gave way, no issue just same thing, glue it back together. Now the mic isn't working and i don't have a multimeter to check wire connections. I've had this headset for almost 2 years now and i honestly don't want to get rid of it, its comfy and looks good. there are definitely better sound quality headsets, but they look too "hardcore gamer" so it's hard to just pop them out and listen to music at the airport without looking weird. If you're using it for mostly xbox, it's very good. If you're using it for majority PC, I'd recommend you look for a different model like a pro or the new nova, so you don't have those weird software issues. If you do get it regardless, I recommend hooking up an aux cable on pc just cause the Bluetooth audio is horrible, for Xbox you get that good stereo audio so again if you're using it for Xbox mostly its great.

I was debating on two headsets; This Xbox Wireless Headset in the video, or the Corsair HS65 Wired headset. I’m not necessarily looking for just convenience of the wireless, I can go without that. I’m mainly looking for the best sound that’s gonna help me play games like Apex, Siege, and Fortnite. I understand the Xbox headset has an EQ I can mess with but if the Corsair HS65 has better sound I’ll definitely go with that one considering it’s cheaper.

Thanks for the video. I'm trying to pick a headset to buy. What I look for most is lowest possible latency, good audio quality, and comfort. I'm willing to spend 200 max. Could anyone recommend me something? The mic recording quality must be good and work well with xbox party chat. That seems like one of the more uncertain things, since most "made for Xbox" headsets are wireless. Also, I did look into the new Steelseries Arctis 7X+, which is supposed to have minimal wireless latency, and wired option as well. Would you recommend that over the Xbox Wireless Headset?

Mine broke after 5 months ,where it’s screwed down to the headband. And I treated them like a kitten ,so pissed off ,looks sturdy ,but aren’t. Got them returned and bought Razer Keira pro wireless instead. Though ,must say very comfy and great sounding
