There were alot of hills outside at the school I used to go to. And during winter seasons, kids would slide down these hills and the area where the kids would slide slowly turn into ice, making sliding down it more fun. The recess monitors were treating it like if it was a normal playground and was actually letting people slide down it, but one incident changed this all. Me and bunch of other kids were sliding down a wide hill and generally having fun, I went back up and slid back down. But for some reason some kid got the whole thing clogged whilst I was sliding down it, I bounced off of the clog and I was stuck on the slide and couldn't move. Then all of the sudden, this ginormous fat kid comes out of nowhere, he wasn't even sliding down it, he was just flying through the air. Last thing I knew, it felt like I was being sat on by Bubble Bass. This caused both me and the fat kid to go to the nurses office, and this caused any kid to be caught sliding down an ice hill to be put on the wall.

The ableism in gym classes was always so intense and for what. Every time I did the pacer test, I could only get to around 5-7 before my insides felt like they were on fire and I couldn’t catch my breath at all. I was red as all hell and I sounded like a fish drowning in air. And yet, somehow, the 35 year old gun teacher looks at this little 7 year going throgug that and decides to insult me, every time. Call attention to it and publicly humiliate me. A few times I actually did pass out, waking up in the nurses office with of course, none other than an ice pack. To this day I’m baffled that my breathing issues weren’t identified sooner because this happened anytime we had to run in gym or play any sport that involved running or even just jogging from kindergarten all the way to highschool gym. There was also a kid in a wheelchair during elementary, and anytime I got sick and was forced to take an F in gym for the day I would sit by them. And we’d talk, I found out that they were forced to take an F every day in gym, the gym teacher tormented them by saying “you’ll get grades when you participate” but they weren’t allowed to participate in their chair at all, and they also couldn’t get out of it. Why do gym teachers hate disabled people so much this is so common for us. No matter what issue you have, your gym teacher will damn near try to kill you young 😭.

I've Been On Some Field Trips, In Grade 1, We Went To The Ripley's Aquarium And The Toronto Zoo, In Grade 2, I Went To A Play, Not Much Until Grade 6, When I Went To The Swimming Pool, We Also Had A End Of The Day Trip Where We Went To Urban Air (The Best Part Of The Trip), Dynamic Earth (A Place About Geology And Stuff), And Science North, I Did Coding And Watched A 3D Movie About Pterosaurs, It Was Also Overnight. In Grade 8, Were Going Back To The Ripley's Aquarium And Hopefully Canada's Wonderland Sometime In May.

I've only had one good field trip experience, and it was in 9th grade when my choir class went to komu (correct me if I'm wrong it's been a while) and instead of going straight back we went to the mall, the teacher probably broke quite a few rules by letting us go off on our own basically all day, but it was the most fun I'd have on a field trip.
