I’m following my family’s migration from Georgia thru Florida,Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas where they became rangers. They were originally enlisted to hunt a band of natives called Red Sticks along the gulf coast.

Ca. started with the mass killing, rapes, and slavery of the Native Americans residing in Ca. Greed and desperation, ruthlessness and narcissism started "white" Ca. But you are an excellent historic storyteller with a good voice.

It's Fort Doo Kane, not Fort Doo Kez knee. Fort Duquesne was later captured by the British, became Fort Pitt ,named for William Pitt, British PM. And today, it's a football stadium (Heinz Field) in Pittsburgh.

Thank You for this Well organized Texas History. I have read much about Quana Parker, Comanche Chief. I became interested in this colorful Chief and his family 36 years ago when living in Vernon Texas. The town of Quana Texas is short distance southwest of Vernon. I visited the area where Quana and his tribe held off Texans up on high mountain. I gained so much information and real history about the people. Cinthia Anne Parker , story is most amazing Life. The history you have so perfectly presented is excellent History. Thank You,
