It has absolutely been very reliable and stable, I love it so much. I off set about $150 a month using load shaving. The only issue I have had is with the Schneider Conext battery monitors. The first one I bought just plain did not work, and the second one lasted about a year. I had to tell them I was making a video about their system to even get them to think about replacing the first battery monitor. Then, after over a month of back and forth, they finally sent one. Since it has stopped working it has changed the way the load shaving works, and now I have to use time based instead of battery life, but it still works fine. I would buy more for a great price, but if I do upgrade, i will go to 48 volts to save money on wire size.

You know what? It's kind of funny you ask that because I have not had to do a reset but at the moment I am having an issue with the system not load shaving and I cannot figure out why and I have been thinking about doing a reset myself. I will probably try that tomorrow and see if it fixes my issue. Is there anything you would like me to look out for for you on having to do the reset or do you have any advice for me?

Sorry it has taken me this long to see this comment. I have the 4024 version as stated above and as far as I'm aware there is no way to adjust that. Now with that being said I have had an issue when I had incorrectly entered the amount of amp hour storage capacity of the battery I had and this caused an issue to the MPPT controller telling it that the battery pack needed more charging time but yet the battery was already full. This caused me an instance where I had high voltage output as well I lowered the battery bank and power capacity by 50amphrs and now when the battery bank charges up during the middle of the day and is at 100% and the sun is still shining I do not get the high voltage error. Hi KZbin :-) and the sun is then completely converted into usable renewable electricity. What I also did to help with this issue is I have SOC enabled and set to load shave when The battery pack reaches 90% and stops load shaving when it drops to 30% I have my load shave amps set between 2.5 and 1.5 depending on how fast I want it to drain the battery or how much energy I want to consume during an amount of time. So for instance if I knew the power was only going to be out for a short period then I would draw more power with a lower amperage set to load shave so 1.25 to 1.5 whenever it's on standard I don't know how long the power will be out I want to try to save so I only set it to 2.5 and above that way it doesn't draw too much power from the batteries and case of full power loss I still have a backup for 5 to 6 hours. I hope this makes sense Good luck and just make sure you're not trying to still charge your battery pack after it's already 100% full this will cause a high voltage error. @Tony B here are some settings like I said if more needed let me know.

I haven't made any videos as of late I am thinking of making one here soon. But as to how my system is doing it is doing great I've had no issues at all with it I am saving roughly 100 to $150 during the hottest days of the summer I have it set up to load shave starting at 90% and shutting off at 30% that leaves me with about 4 hours of battery if the batteries are at 30% and the power goes out it really helps a lot on the power bill about 5000 kW per day savings

@@earthenergyhex actually about 6 months ago I installed a 800 watt wind turbine now to be honest I haven't put it up 100% correctly I have just mounted it to the side of my shed and stuck it up in the air about 30 ft so it's not grabbing all the wind that it could be getting and honestly I haven't noticed really any gain at all but I live in an area where we only get winds whenever it rains other than that it's really sporadic. But once I get the wind turbine to a point that it is collecting more wind energy then I will probably do a video and see how that goes Right now the wind is too erratic for my turbine because it is so low once I get it higher it will get in the mainstream wind and work a lot better.

Do you have any issues viewing other videos? When I upload videos to KZbin it converts it to its own format I do not have control after uploading. I'm sorry you're having issues maybe try using another browser. Good luck! Or maybe even try the option of downloading the video and then trying to view it hopefully that would help.

I have a question for you. It looks like youre in a shed or little power station you set up. It is similar to I plan to do. For the AC side of the SW, does the AC input and out put come from the same subpanel?
@KPKev
@KPKev 2 жыл бұрын
On the inverter itself if it says AC input that is coming from your mains AC subpanel coming from your utility provider. If you do not have a utility provider for your AC and only use a generator this is where you would hook up the generator to run as your main power until it runs out. Now the AC output on the inverter goes to a subpanel for everything powered by the inverter. When they inverter is in normal operation it runs from the main utility company AC to a sub panel for my shed and from that sub panel I run to the AC input on the inverter and then if there are any power issues from the utility company on the main AC input then the inverter will automatically switch to powering itself from the battery bank and disconnect the main AC input so no power back flows into the power grid and shock some worker or somebody. It happens so fast that the lights do not even flicker. (20ms I believe was the switching speed). The AC output from the inverter is connected to a sub panel that is not the same as my input subpanel, it is output from the inverter only and powers everything I want during a power outage. I hope that answers the question you were asking, if not let me know a little more details and I will help if I can.

@@tomscott7292 I can see that you're new to KZbin and undoubtedly do not know how to keep your professional opinion to yourself. Does this look like a 20 acre megawatt system, this is a do-it-yourself project and intended for people who are building their own systems not critiquing a professional installation as you have stated you work on. I have been in the air conditioning industry for over 30 years owning my own company and I would never be rude enough to tell somebody their air conditioner was an eyesore even if it was window unit. I do have a sense of humor but clearly what you said was not a joke it was your opinion and as you can read this is an informational video for people that need help or have updates on the equipment I use. I took your comment as an insult as you did not have the full information to what you were talking about. I have never claimed to be a professional electrician and nor do I want to be one this is simply a hobby and what I do to help my family save money. It really upset me and you struck a nerve and then tried to say you were joking, a joke has a punchline I did not see one. But enough bickering thank you for at least watching the video, I do appreciate that, just remember not everybody is a professional in your field and they may not be looking to put the time and effort into a mock-up to make it look professional. I will definitely take your suggestion to try to make things as plug and play as possible but just realize people do things their own way if they are not professionals in that trade. I'm sure my air conditioning skills would run circles around yours. Have a great day I'm not trying to start an argument just trying to get you to understand not everbody is on your level as far as being an electrician. Can someone please explain the difference between Combox and SCP? And can I configure my SW inverter with one?

The SCP is just a way to change settings on the Context SW. The combox is just a web browser and shows the details of the system. You can also change settings remotely via the combox. Do know that every time the power resets or is turned off and then turned back on the combox it will reset the network address on the box and you will have to get it again. The SCP is a set it and forget it. The combox is a browser interface with settings.
