Point Reyes cheeses NEVER disappoint. I used to work in the culinary field, and one of the things I used to do was curate specialty cheeses for various cheese boards I used to make along with making in house pickles, caramelized honey, preserves and marmalade as the cheese accompaniments. Anyway, one of my favorite cheese makers was Point Reyes. They make such great quality cheeses.

I am a camper and I see people do stuff on the grill that I am amazed at they make everything their casseroles are macaroni and cheese. Everything on the grill you could make a smaller shepherds pie just in case it don’t work and do it on your grill that way you’re not heating up your house and you can have what you want cause I’ve heard you several times say I can’t make this. I don’t wanna heat my house up so try your grill I have literally seen people make everything on that in my Camping post and let us know how it does if you do it have fun

Katie, I think we are similar: I don't like soft, mushy, sweet stuff. Give me salty crunchy all day long... I buy the fresh packaged broccoli and cauliflower combo which is washed and ready to go; then I roast them with baby tomatoes, red onion, and diced potatoes with olive oil and seasonings for a tasty, easy one pan meal. You can garnish with parmesan cheese or a dollop of mayo. Yum.

The seedy bread sounds good to me! My store hasn’t had the Mafalda Corta pasta for months - I use it for lasagna soup! I use vegan Richa’s recipe on her blog as a starting point. Her recipe has some red lentils and I always add 1 extra Tbsp. My tweaks are I add 1 Tbsp diced sundried tomatoes, 1.5 tsp tomato paste. Instead of her 2 cups water or veg broth - I use 3/4 cup unsalted veg stock+3/4 cup water+1/2 cup red wine. I cook in instant pot so I would think the high temp would evaporate the alcohol. For the ricotta I add a large spoonful of dairy ricotta on top of each bowl when serving. (The recipe is flexible on what vegetables to put in - I almost always use carrots and green bell pepper, and after the soup cooks stir in fresh baby spinach.)

I just was at TJ's today and spent $300😳😑...but I got that seeded bread two weeks ago and got more today. It's really good toasted for our avocado toast! And I'm from Colorado so they had the famous Palisade 🍑 peaches! Does California get our Palisade peaches? The Georgia peaches in a bag have been super sweet and delicious this year too!❤❤

Aww, so sweet, happy birthday Luna! If you can, shoot a little bit of her opening her gift to show us. 💙 I love those vegan orange chicken pieces, too - I usually toss out the flavor packet (so much sugar!) but the nugget pieces are the BEST so I use them in everything! I am always impressed with what you are able to get at your TJ's. The one here in Davis has never had the strawberry tomatoes & I have not seen the Dry Farm Early Girl tomatoes either. Also the asparagus--not what we get.The bag is different (unless this is a new supplier?) & we get the thin, brittle spears you mentioned. There are some things I don't buy at TJ's because the quality is actually inferior to what is easily available at most other grocery stores in our area. Have you tried the gluten free multi seed crackers at TJs? I have been obsessed with them for a while, but I don't think I have ever seen them in your haul.

Hmm do you happen to know if they were all from the same store? I worked at TJ’s for 9 years and I will say sometimes the frozen load would be out for 2 hours. Things definitely defrosted in that time. If it’s from the same store I’m willing to bet that’s what happened.

Yes so the employees at TJ’s date the breads and pastries themselves. They use a sticker gun to tag the date. Each item has its own best by date that they have to calculate once it’s out onto the shelf.
