@buildanddrive18 күн бұрын
An inverter on that small fuse that I swapped? You could swap the fuse but I don't think the wiring will support it. I suggest you run a new 8 gauge wire with built in fuse from the battery to where you want the inverter to be.

Hey dude, i have E87. I encountered this situation twice. I added 1 liter of oil each time and continued on my way. After a while, it showed the oil at maximum value each time. Where does this fucking oil go and come back? I have a panic attack at every notification light just because of this oil warning.
@buildanddrive20 күн бұрын
It's hard to say, it could be burning. That's why you should change the oil, (if you don't yourself) then drive until it's down, and asks for 1 more litre. Empty the oil and see how much is in there. BMW engineers seem have added that extra 0.5L in the crankcase because the sensor isn't so accurate. So I know when I add a litre, it's the correct level. If alot less than 5L comes out, then maybe your sensor is going bad.
@tabout792022 күн бұрын
Always remember it’s better to change your oil too much than not enough. If you ever have to ask yourself if you need one then yes you do. Also if you’re losing oil of any kind I would use luqui moly 5w40. I switched to it and it’s entirely stopped losing oil

That typ 200 stuff is great, we’ve done 24 hour races with it with stock callipers and apart from when we get pad knock back we’ve not had a long pedal. Btw if your still not getting a great pedal after using this technique (which is what we usually do) then you can go into INPA and bleed it via a routine in there, you still have to have your foot on the brake but it will operate the abs pump as well, so if there is any old fluid or bubbles in there it should push them out. If your after a video idea that might be a good one to do with a “you cant believe this secret trick to get great peddle feel 😀” headline, be warned it uses a lot of fluid, so i’d have 2 litres handy just incase as you don’t want to run the reservoir dry. Mrs drive made me giggle, I’ve forgotten to let my wife know when she can take her foot off the brake many times when doing this 😂
@buildanddriveАй бұрын
Thanks for letting me know. I always had to bleed it, drive a bit and then bleed it again. Forgot about the inpa thing. Should make a video on it. Never had issues with this fluid. Thinking of trying motul rf600 next year

Love your channel mate! Came across it because our engine was burning a litre of oil every 7 laps 😂 We’re a Scottish team(although last count there are 6 different nationalities involved) that has been racing on and off in NLS/VLN and 24 since 2017 in a 325i e90, we’ve found we can usually do 8 laps of the VLN variant. Sometimes if there is a long code 60 we can squeeze out an extra lap, our rule is if the fuel light isn’t on when you pass the start/finish line you can complete the next lap at full pace, so don’t panic if the light comes on part way round but don’t attempt an extra lap. Btw if you ever fancy getting involve with a race team you’re more than welcome to join us at a vln or 24. We’re easy to spot as we’re basically the only right hand drive car that races there. Cheers, Ben(viken motorsport)
