Hmm, kind of? It's true that the pools will continue to grow throughout P3. But with good placements from your tanks dropping the whelps as far back as possible, you likely won't live long enough to the point that you run out of space. At least in all of my experience progging this fight, we would die to other things before space ever became an issue. But the reason I say "kind of" is because it's relevantfor players being pursued by twilight slicer. They will have noticeably less room to work with late into P3

not a stupid question! a death works just like a dispel, causing wrack to jump to two players with its damage reset. i don't believe there's a range on it

Yeah I saw subtle do this in one of his normal clears of nef. I think this is only viable on normal though so I decided it wasn't worth including in the guide

I would think so - my initial reaction is that all tanks are viable. Or at least I don't think any tanks are so egregiously bad that bringing them means you can't do certain boss fights. But I also don't tank so I'm not super knowledgeable on the subject

I'm not using one. I don't know if our healers have something they use between themselves, but usually one of our healers comms when to use raid CDs

It looks like the Blood Dk PoV has what looks like an angry assignments, but just for raid DMG and heal CDs, that was the addon I’m referring to. Was just wondering what was being used to do that.

our first go round we did 2 ultimate's and we popped lust the instant the first boss was about to die, yeah we lost some lust time, but that's when you need dps cranking to make sure the other two drop. i'm not an expert, but i am our raid leader and we did that for the safest kill. we actually popped lust during the second ultimate as the frost boss was at 15% and the others were at like 10% or a little less.

we generally lusted one of the sleet storm phases to help catch up dps on nezir (frost platform). During prog this boss always had way more health than the others, so we used lust as a means to even things out. I think we lusted the 2nd ultimate for prog, and the 1st ultimate in our most recent reclear.

Yeah I went back and forth over whether I should include 2 tanking in the video. There are raid teams that have made it work but it's a LOT more difficult. Definitely advise 3 tanks for prog

Yes! and I believe only direct attacks will trigger the negative shield effects, so you should be fine to put up curse of doom, although each golem is only active for about a minute so you'll be cutting it close. just be careful about dooming magmatron - his shield is an absorb that blows up if he takes too much damage. so probably avoid that one

Terrible take, you don’t get near title without a huge amount of responsibility on every player, from needing to min max dps to kill mobs before they kill you to stops, interrupts, defensives, other forms of utility. Also most people who get title are teams so they likely plan all the routes, order which they use defensive and healing cds etc together and everyone is involved. What your saying is true until a certain point but not anywhere near title.

@Joemomma69420. agree. I think op might be a 2200 io type of player The higher you go the easier tank becomes. It's the easiest role of the dps and healer are good players

I kind of agree with both takes here. I don't have experience tanking or healing so I can't really speak on that front, but concerning each individual role - I imagine it's easier to succeed in a dungeon with a bad dps than it would be with a bad tank or healer. But I also agree that as the key levels get higher, the responsibility of each player evens out. In the sense that everyone needs to execute their roles correctly to succeed in the dungeon. As an example of dps having a meaninful role, at high key levels there are pulls where the tank is on a timer - if the pack doesn't die quickly enough, the tank falls over - so the onus is on the dps to correctly execute their rotation and manage cds accordingly.
