Hey guys! After having completed the Sunken Temple raid and with the recent changes made to Eranikus, I've put together a boss guide based on what I've learned so far. I hope it helps!

There have been a couple more changes to the raid since publishing this video: Update 1 - It seems the weekly reset changes which of Jammal'an and Ogom are killed first. This week Ogom has the healing buff, and when empowered Ogom transforms into a paladin, gaining consecrate (move out of), raid wide divine storm, and an aoe HoJ. Update 2 - It appears they have changed the Hazzas and Morphaz fight such that LOS tech no longer works, so check out the non-los strat and be sure to hold your CDs for the burn at 30%!

This eranikus explanation is fantastic. This is what i was hoping to find. We had an impossible time trting to get 10+ ranged players to stack on 1 spot throughout the fight and the adds were scattered all over the place making it impossible to deal with them. Hopefully my guild will watch this and decide to go with this strategy instead of calling me an idiot for suggesting we try something different. They also keep not handing out any of the nightmare seeds. To me at least. So i guess the raid leader and their buddies are just going to be a million times richer and have their crafted gear before any of us. I wish i could just find a guild that would work together to accomplish things like farming the nightmare seeds so we could all get our gear and rarn extra gold.

Yo shin, wanted to let u know, it looks like Jammal and Ogom swap prio on who is killed first every week. We went and tried killing Ogom first like last time, but he kept getting healed. So we had to kill Jammal first, and Ogom had a completely different phase 2

The order can change for the Jamal fight, where you have to kill him first, then Org eats his corpse and turns into a paladin with consecrate.

My character + target frame is shadowed unit frames, then the UI in the middle is an old one I found off the warlock discord, though I wouldn't suggest using it because it's no longer being kept up to date

I've been told if you go back to the quest giver after completing the quest, you're offered a dialogue option to get a scroll to summon Hakkar

maybe you're thinking of demolishing smash? it does more damage the more pillars there are active, which could add up to 2.5k

I hate these SoD Raids tbh. I want to play a Game not do a second Job ....... to much shit going on, this is no longer classic, its Retail Softversion 1.0 and i find it disgusting. You now NEED Addons and Macros to play classic, congratz Blizzard you appealed the top 5% Players and shit on the rest of your customers.

none of these guides mention Thorns which is an ability one of the council/defender bosses uses...it killed like 6-7 of our melee cause no body knew. if you're going to make a guide video on bosses, you should probably mention mechanics that will oneshot/kill a whole group of people. smh

Fair point - in our first attempt we instantly dispelled it so I wasn't left with the impression it was a dangerous mechanic when making this guide. I guess it's a matter of perspective

This was deliberate - and with the understanding that most people don't need to know every single mechanic for some of the early encounters to still be successful in the raid. I'd be interested to know if you still think this for some of the later fights in the raid - I thought I was fairly exhaustive regarding fights like eranikus and avatar, for example

To be fair I think this describes every version of wow raiding. This is coming from someone that plays retail, wotlk classic, and sod. Not to defend it, I agree it's a little off-putting. But logs are probably the best tool players can use to filter randoms in lfg.
