I once designed and printed a custom auxiliary lens housing for my thermal camera, which was embedded in an old phone. Including various threads for focus and mounting. You learn a lot by turning your CAD models into physical prototypes. Like my first attempt was mirrored... And it took me the physical piece in my hand to notice. I also 3D printed a pinhole lens, so you don't even need glas, just a piece of metal with a pinhole and some tape. And of course, I printed various adapters. Like some you wouldn't find on eBay. D-mount to MFT is quite conal and it does work.

Last month hiking at sunset I've encountered a Great Horned Owl, an Eagle, and a Great Blue Heron all bathed in sunset light. By the time I fumbled my phone from my pocket, performed the bio unlock, activated the camera app, and got some shots off, the moment was over... If I had a DSLR at the ready on my chest harness strap, all would have been easy and amazing shots. Thanks for this video, I want a nice beater DSLR for these shots I've been missing...

They are all bots, even Veefly who starts with a real Google ads campaign then switches you to bots for subsequent campaigns when they think you aren't looking.

I take wildlife photos and find myself using the RF 800 F/11 about 90 percent of the time, the RF100-400 10 percent of the time.

I purchased an r50 3 months ago and biggest problem for me is static noise on videos i record. Tried all manner of settings. Took of auto sound and adjusted. Cannot get rid of static noise. I am new to using a camera. Tried external mic still the same. Contacted canon and no help.

There's a reason Android based OSes and iOS/iPadOS default camera programs have such heavy post-processing (use Open Camera for unprocessed out-of-camera image and video). Even if dynamic range was improved past 2005, lens diffraction and ISO performance is a physical limitation due to basic physics. If you think images and video from phone cameras are anything but terrible to it'll do... Dunning-Kruger effect. No, 1-inch sensors aren't good enough and never were in the first place regardless of whether it's in a point and shoot, DigiCam, phone or a bridge camera.
