The Sony FS7 is truly a gem. Especially with all the the 3rd party LUT development. IMO Phantom being the best (2024)

Most of them are the exact same inside with maybe I slightly different lense and all the change is appearance or some are same inside and outside

I also bought the Canon R50 with the 18-45 mm lens but the lens cannot be completely retracted so it cannot reach the completely closed original position. I don't know if my description was understandable but is that normal or is my lens broken?

Sony Nex 5 Bricked after attempt of firmware update to version 5 - Red light glowing in the battery storage. How I've solved - I was attempting using an mini USB cable 3.0 with 4 pins to update, after I've bought an 5 pin mini USB 2.0 the program worked flawless. I was using Windows 10 and executed the program with compatibility mode set to windows 8 and checked the box to run in administrator mode too. SD card off from the camera and was using the battery fully charged. I hope this will help all of you, because I couldn't find anything in the internet ;)

Which one will be better for streaming videos for my NEX7? Because I want to replace my 18-55mm kit lens

Have been thinking about buying this camera, the biggest deal breakers for me are the very slow aperture kit lens (not even f3.5? Seriously?) And the very limited selection of lenses for this mount. Like hell, not a single rf-S prime? (I know you can use normal RF lenses for it, but the most basic rf lens cost the same as this camera with the kit lens).

I was thinking about just buying one of these cheap cameras. Glad I ran across this video. Do you have any recommendations for one that has night vision?

I got the RF-S version a few months ago. I use it with my R7 and I am really totally in love with it. But I didn't know the lens has autofocus 🤣 I thought it was a manual lens and I was wondering why every shot is sharp and crispy even though I didn't really move the focus ring haha. But I have one question; Could I use this lens also on a R6 or R8?

Don't get the 5 or 5n. Get the 5R or 5T. These have hybrid phase detect autofocus - makes a night and day difference in autofocus.

I just got the Sony ZV1F, and for some reason I don't use it's touch screen capabilities at all. So I'm thinking an R100 might be for me.

So why are reviews saying the camera is disappointing and that it isn't sharp at all. That it's just a beginner grade camera and not useful for those looking to be professionals

@08:55 [the Nikon D7000] can _...record 1080P video @ 24fps...so same video capabilities as the Sony A5000..._ Not quite. While the D7000 is limited to 24 fps, the A5000 can shoot up to 60fps @ 1080.

My last camera was a Canon AE-1 that I bought with my very first income tax return in 1978 and boy is the D3300 about 1,000,000 more complicated and amazing!
