If you use copper (I wouldn't) consider a heat shield and a high temp clear coat at least, interesting build though. I own a white 1973 3rd series 124 completely refurbished from scratch so I do understand how expensive that car can be... keep on and enjoy it. To all the haters you have to think that in Italy everyone modified that car it to their liking (fake Abarth mainly) I went the other route.. the expensive one, but it was of a friend that died in an accident project so I just had to finish it no matter the money. Keep on Daniel!

Stainless steel and silicone for the intercooler piping, no copper, and certainly do not use conduit hold downs, you could have a aluminum plate machined or bent and drilled with the correct measurements to press down on the injector, similar to the conduit clamp, but made of thicker material 3/16.

Well I'm not here from Tavarish. I've been nosing around since you started your channel. Sound was not a problem and I'm and old guy with a bad ear. Yes to the copper if you can get it sized right. I'd cut the tab off past the hole you drilled and put a silicone O ring between it and the injector. I thought he tab was only be there for stability during the install as the fuel rail will be holding it in place provided the injector and seal are proper tightness. Rock On

if you can build and tune a Fiat Spider, you cant tune anything. Bless you once you have to do electrical work. you'll need it especially if it was built around the beginning of august. Had 2 2000's , a 78 and a 81 turbo

Have been a Fiat mechanic since the cars were new, it's interesting that you are building a turbo Fiat, but I question 2 things, who will be able to figure out how you modified the car with aftermarket parts that are not available anymore, but more important is I have experience with increasing the power of the 1800 cc engine and finding that the differential will not be able to hold up to the increased power. I have always told my customers the Fiat Spiders are perfect stock.

Cobbling stuff to get things to work well enough and an original plan of one`s own is more fun to watch than just buying the parts and bolting them on. Necessity is the "mother" of invention.

I daily drove a 79 fiat with a carb in high-school and college ive still got it t mine is a 2 liter an important thing to note is that the1.8 in your car is an interference engine a 2.0 isn't but these engines can take ridiculous amounts of boost and live.

I like the copper idea you can solder it up and polish it up and it will look amazing as far as the injectors you definitely have to figure out something different so you don't end up with the style car Freddy likes to buy. a burnt one
