I have done a survey of mt East youths political allegiances and I was surprised they they believe in Gachagua,,This was in spite of their former Governor Kiraitu Muriungi eloquent speech in front of Gachagua recently that actually the term mt Kenya East was coined by them long ago to show the disparity in development of the region,,,what this simply means is that the east is a fraide of the majority Kikuyu and can not take independent political course,,,
