I agree that Raila Odinga is a man who triggers either devoted love or total loathing. I like the way you have analysed his actions over the years and it introduces a completely different angle to the way many of us view him. Whatever we may think of him, he is now OUR candidate and I have found myself rooting for him and feeling so proud of the way he is handling the AUC debate. Perhaps this is the place where we will truly appreciate his talents and much as I have never voted/supported him, on this occasion, I'm cheering for him!

If you want to know Engineer Raila Amolo Odinga Wuod Nyalego is powerful, the whole of Kenya today was glued to their screens or pensively listening to their radios for one reason AUC debate. I walked into a supermarket few minutes before the debate and the attendants seemed quite distracted. I had to find out why.Honestly speaking I didn't even know there was a contest or debate in the past AUC elections. Okay maybe just by passing but not keen interest and am sure the same applies to most i.e both pro and against Rao.

Actually AUC needs Raila more than he needs it. His name alone has elicited the much needed interest on what's this AUC, even by people who would otherwise not give a damn about anything including if you peed at their door step. I'm referring to gen z. That amount of interest will then make AU powerful and in turn make it effective and worth being listened to by the continent and on the world stage.

Raila has followed the law to the hilt. He has championed the checks and balances that have brought Kenya thus far. Were would this country be now without Baba ? Think about it !!
