Hey I don't know if you have time to read comments but I noticed a while back you had hip surgery and I've had it about 4 and a half years ago. So my question is it when you do the abductors is that safe after hip surgery I'm guessing it is since you've had yours. I was always afraid to do that one exercise. I know everybody's different but my question is was this video posted after you had your hip surgery??? that would give me more confidence to try it. Thanks. I just want to say thanks for all your videos I have been using them several times a week for about 4 years now. Not only are your videos doable for seniors but you are so encouraging and positive it really helps to motivate us thank you

Thank you for your kind support. My hip surgery was two years ago. This is a recent video ( last month). As far as restrictions, those should come from the PT you worked with according to the type of hip surgery (front or back entry) and the success of the overall procedure. I know if we don't ask the PT, sometimes the forget to mention restrictions. I suggest experimenting by just progressing slowly with side abductor lifts, such as standing at the kitchen counter and just pointing your toe to the side. Next week lift it off the floor maybe just an inch. If no harm you can progress from there. Any pain however, do not lift the leg. Hope this all helps.

Well that was short but quite a boost of energy for me. I bought a new tracker can't find my charger for the other hunted the flat out for days but no good. This one calls out Warning and bongs when I my bp goes too high. It nearly gave me a heart5 attack 😂 😂
