I love coming back and watching these videos. But one thing I’ve always wondered between this one and TTWT 3 is what engine is the 4600 based off of. It honestly looks like a A1 expect for the cab. Are the engines freelanced designed or are they based on real engines? I will say as I’ve built a somewhat “realistic” version I guess you could say of Little Western in Gmod is that it looks something like Captain Baxter or a Kerr Stuart 0-4-0WT.

The engines are mostly freelance designs, the only exceptions being the 9F and the Andrew Barclay saddletank. The 46000 was built as a freelance large boiler express locomotive, the fact that its wheel arrangement is depicted by the standard Lego articulated bogies means that its the least realistic of my engines. I decided it would be a 4-8-2 if it were realistic and the closest match I found to it would be a proposed LNER design.

Hey TurboJUK. Here's an idea. You should use the Metroliner's coaches in an Express train for a total of seven coaches and a caboose.

Oh ok and TurboJUK Mallard is one of my favourite steam locomotives and Flying Scotsman is also one of my favourite steam locomotives and Mallard reached 126 miles per hour and flying Scotsman reached 100 miles per hour and flying Scotsman and Mallard both Belong to the national railway museum in York in England don’t they 🙂

Officially it has no title; being made for a somewhat obscure documentary in the late 80s, details of it are probably lost to time. I always referred to it as “Rhapsody In Blue” based on how the narrator described Mallard while the song played.

Try adding the Metroliner's coaches to the Emerald Night coach, Pullman coach, and three green coaches, and caboose to make up for a total of seven coaches and a caboose.
