My epever Charge controller had me pulling my hair . It stops charging (3) 100ah batteries at 13.2. When I restarted it and left it at default, it started charging again. I thought it was the panels that were bad. Speed ever want me to return it but it is winter. Their tech support suck.

I checked and had .5VDC from each of my solar panels after installation and pre-commissioning. One thing my panels came with was a second black box affixed to the back side of each. My panels came with no technical documentation. I later found out that these were "rapid shutdown modules". Allegedly, when I tie the panels into the inverters, they will recognize them as a load and start outputting power. I haven't had time to do that and find out.

In my experience about a year for a controller and 3 years for the pump. Get an Amazon pump, you’ll thank me later.

I live on a hill about 600-700 feet up, I am connected to the city, but the city line goes into my pump and into my 2 pressure tanks to push water up to the home. we frequently have power outages especially during the monsoon season and on accession a car will run into a pole and knock it down which will leave us without water until power is restored, would I be able to convert this system to solar with battery back up? thank you hope to hear back.

I got a rps solar pump and it worked out fine the first day after installation, while I tried to pump the next day it kept on showing the error code OP-4...is there something I can do about this?

great video, thank you, bit of a long question, but I'm almost sure it will become a problem for others like me who are learning also :). I installed a pump for hot/cold water supply on a residential site together with an off grid power system. The pump is 24V to run straight off the batteries, it is 200 psi with a 10l/min flow rate and 2.7m head. I found that the pump would work for a while, but occasionally burn out the pressure switch, requiring replacement. Talking to the manufacturer, this turned out to be because we had restricted the flow, which was needed to allow the hot water system to work properly. This pump needed to maintain its flow rate to avoid having issues, but I wondered if there are off grid pumps available which can have a variable flow rate as you turn off/on taps which would avoid this issue? or whether its just a matter of choosing a pump with the exact flow rate for the downstream equipment?

Hello, I am an electrical engineering student in Afghanistan, and I have a class project that requires calculations and precise design. The goal of this project is to irrigate 72 hectares of agricultural land, which includes crops such as wheat, sorghum, beans, grapes, okra, and oak wood. I intend to use a solar system with direct current (DC) for this project. Please assist me in designing and completing this project so I can carry it out in the best possible way.

Do you know of any solar pump or system that can be used to pump water up a 3/4" water hose from a 100' deep well casing where the pump is up on the ground next to the casing? The closer to 9 gpm the better. I have a 2500 watt submersible now but I lose pressure in the house when the pump is running 24/7 into the lake. I was hoping to find a 1000 watt or less dry pump instead to save money and allow the submersible one to be use for the home only. I don't think running a water hose in the casing would hurt if I cut the metal nozzle off and I have room for it???? Pressure tank is around 35/75 when I bought the home and I usually run it at 18 lbs constant to fill the lake between rains. I've had the pump running for 2 weeks at a time with no issue and its flowing around 17.5 gpm at 18 lbs controlled with a valve ball I turn half open. The previous home owner has the water passing through the pressure tank before filling the lake but I wounder if it should be before the pressure tank that way the tank is used for the home only and I can have good pressure to take a shower instead of 18 below?

WTF RPS. Is it this simple? String one of four panels, and string two of four panels. Wire string one in series for panels 1-4. the last panel will have one positive plug and one negative plug? Then the positive and negative are joined via y connector? which is then plugged into the control panel? And I assume the second string would also be wired in series. What is funky to me is that at the control box there is a positive and negative connector. So what gives, what string is positive and what string is negative. A simple wiring diagram would be really helpful. The video is confusing.

What system that you sell could pump 1300'? And what gpm? I have a water well that is about 1100' deep and needs an additional 200' to pump to a tank for water pressure to irrigate.
