That's crazy that you think that's the most dangerous place in Medellin. In 8 years of coming to Medelin including 2 years living in that exact area - nothing ever happened to me there. I'm talking about hanging out and drinking till 4 am and walking home from there. Not once did I have a problem, ever.

I recently sold a house in the USA and banked 480k i want to buy an apartment in Medellin in the 150k price range but im scared ro death that i will get hustled because im not Colombia and im not Spanish. Ive heard some horror stories about people being ripped off in Medellin. You cant trust those lawyers. My best bet is to bank the 500k in a capital one and SoFi account and collect 5% and us that money to pay rent in Medellin and to us that money live off of in Colombia. This guy in the blue shirt doesnt know what hes talking about saying 10% 15% he even went up to 20% at the 7 minute mark. You cant trust guys like that they will literally rip you off and in Colombia there is no government to enforce or punish con artists like this guy in the blue shirt.
