I've been watching your videos for many many years now and consider you one of the OG's. I'm rooting for you brother and know that you will succeed. In 2010 I had to start from 0 at 38 years old due to the recession in the US but I learned a lot from that experience and am a better/smarter person for it. Know that there are still honest and fair people that you can trust and partner with. I'll be checking up on you on your new journey.

Don't regret what could have been, cherish the experience and memories. It was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives, for better or worse. Keep it up buddy

This is one of the most grounded, heartfelt, introspective monologues that I’ve ever seen, bar none. I remember stumbling across your channel years ago when I was researching Colombia back in late 2019. I always enjoyed your positive energy and your vision was inspired. I can’t imagine how it felt to have your dream and all of your hard work snatched away from you but I do know this… based on everything that I’ve seen here you WILL make it. You WILL rise to the top again. You have the 2 most important markers for any successful person…. 1. A willingness to work hard 2. A refusal to look for excuses I’m pulling for you Sam. And if I get back to Colombia one day and we ever cross paths… dinner and drinks are on me 🍻

Option 1: Blame everybody else for your problems and accept the lie that you have no control over your own destiny. Option 2: Blame yourself for your problems and receive the power that comes from assuming responsibility for your own destiny. Thank you Sam for going with Option 2. It has made your videos a lot more interesting, entertaining and wholistically informative. Given that I now live in Bogotá instead of Atlanta, I might also add that your videos are life changing.

I understand from personal experience Sam. You’re not giving up on you. Neither will many of us who know life is about ups and downs and learning along the way. It’s all about intent and being honest with those around us and most ourselves. Your journey is still early. There will always be setbacks. The difference in each is how you manage and learn and sharpen your mind and next steps. I continue to follow you. Forge ahead in honesty and good intentions my brother.

Sam, greetings from Brasil, my friend. I have been following you for y it ears now and you have a large credit in your account with me. I never questioned what went on with Life Afar, as those players (CEO,CFO & Legal) were from my world that I left behind years ago. It is good to see you on the far side of that time of your life but you have a skill of honest communication with people . . . which gave them something to hide behind as you were the public facing entity in that organization. Thanks for taking responsibility for yourself . . . now move on my friend, we all get it, we all know the man that you are. Live, create, and enjoy the life that you have and make it what you want. You have my support virtually, at a minimum. Be Good, Do Good.

Love it man, thank you. Yep, it's certainly common practice as pride and egos get hidden behind "what's best for the company". I've learned to communicate better about opportunities and to define smarter contracts. Onwards and upwards 💪

Great video Sam. I think "ownership" is a better word than "fault" as it's not about assigning blame for what happened but taking ownership of it to get full control back in your life and the agency to design a fresh plan with a clear mind and less baggage. Getting screwed over in business is very common, as is being broke, it's really just part of the game but you get smarter over time. The best part about rock bottom is it's all upside from there once you accept the situation, forgive yourself and let go of what happened. Which is hard and can take years. Keep watching Alex Hormozi's stuff, it's my bible nowadays, and the best playbook for selling and building a business that I have seen in 30 years.
@SamMillerLife Жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul, wise words. Yes Hormozis content is gold. More success is inevitable and I have no doubt of this. My mind is already there, and actually appreciated deeply the experience of being in a tight place, I made sure to "bottle up" that energy. Appreciate you ⚡
@paulhankin5987 Жыл бұрын
@@SamMillerLife And actually you lead me to Hormozi's stuff on mentioning him in one of your videos a year ago, so another example of how you positively impact other people's lives. Read his book "$100M Offers" as it's a great blueprint for any business.

Most important thing is to know how mentally strong or weak you are and that is crucial in times of hardships Our mentality has to be base in crisis proof mode like airplanes are build to face storms and extreme turbulences every single component in a aircraft not matter how minuscule it is It is made to go thru the most extreme weather conditions even when and engine fail and still able to flight and land without difficulty and that is thanks to the engineers that thought in the adversity that the machines have to go thru Otherwise the accidents would be a everyday thing This analogy help us to embrace difficulty and make it become just one more step in the ladder to success so instead of avoiding confront same situations with diferent tactic base on the most difficult situations Sam you help us to appreciated our country and that is something inmense and meaningful Thanks man

Greetings Sam, I started watching your Colombian travels pre-pandemic and noticed how much you liked living in Colombia, you would bring & continue to do so... bring out the best of la tierrita. I am happy to see you're staying in Colombia, that is a good sign. What I am not happy about is that you lost your thriving business to selfish, greedy rats❕️. May I make a suggestion..... ? Write a book, a tell-all book, include testimonies of your fellow business socios. You would sell it like pan caliente. Do you know the average of people that have heard of your KZbin channel? I recently went to la tierrita and mentioned you to someone.... and they knew who I was talking about. I hope you do it❕️🙏🏼♥️
