Just an FYI. If the car you are selling is 10 years old or older the state of California does NOT require you to list the odometer reading. 😊 Also, (I might have missed him saying this), but you only have 5 days from the sell date to submit the Notice of Transfer (the top part) to the DMV.

I usually do the top part on the CA DMV website. Just make sure you have all the information listed on the top part because the website will ask you for the same information. Then print or save a copy for your records
