How do you know when the NRL was received by the DMV? I made the mistake of not printing the proof that I did it as I did it on my phone and I’m worried they’ll say I never did it. Is there a way to check the status of that without having to go to the DMV?

That's why they call it a "Storage battery". However, a battery will sulfate and eat itself up if it just sits for many months, like a year or so.

1990 Toyota pickup, 3.0 V6, 2 wd. We replaced the pump and gearbox and cleaned resevoir thoroughly. No leaks or seeping in lines or system found. 1100+ psi at pump output. Still no power steering. Opinion?

Even more interesting is my story. MB 1999 SL 500. Got a New battery. Radio wouldn’t work after install. I asked dealership service dept for a code with my VIN number. They gave me the code. Showed me in their system what the code is. Tried the code 3 times and got a WAIT display. Found if I put car in the accessory “on” status and left it for roughly an hour the “Code input” display came back . The dealership gave me a four digit code. The display input looked to me like it wanted 5 digits. In the manual it says to enter the “five digit” code. Called the dealer. They had only four numbers. Called MB Corp. and asked them to verify the number given to me at the dealer. They verified the same four numbers . I asked why the manual says enter 5 digits. They said call the classic car department. They connected me to them. The classic car dept said it’s five digits and gave them to me. All five. I put them in my radio and eureka I have my stereo back. Moral of story: who ever input the codes into the MB program made a human error. Could have cost me $300.00 just for them to try it. In the future I will call the classic car department of MB for all my questions. Who knew they even existed? Not me.

How did u fix it.

I have question. First of all great video! For the 9a and 9b sections where they both say "signature of new registered owner" I am the only new owner but I accidentally signed on both lines because they say the exact same thing and I thought that was required. However I did NOT indicate the "and" or "or" boxes, because ya know i am the only new owner. Do you think this is still okay or would I have to start over?
