@scottsmelser186 Жыл бұрын
Yep. I did see a super clean S10 today. Good on whoever kept it so nice. Only problem- - it was still an S10. And for sure, you hardly see them anywhere as often as old Rangers. Rangers go and go and go. I've got 2 right now: 94 4 cyl. 5 speed with super clean frame and no rust, c. 126K miles. And a good looking 2003 2.3 16v 5 speed, about 155K miles. Had a 98 stick with the 2.5 that I drove from 120K to 220K. My son bought a 2001 with 234K a week ago, running good. Only mistake I ever made on a Ranger was when I bought a high mileage auto transmission. Bought it to flip- fixed it up looking sharp, and then the tranny went. Don't ever intend to break my stick only rule again!

@@tyranq8609 I have an '04 Fx4, it has the 4.0. Having driven both, if you can get the 4.0 I'd recommend that over the 3.0 - the 3.0 is pretty gutless and anemic when you need some power on-demand for passing or getting onto the highway. The mpg on the 4.0 is a bit rough to be honest, I average around 12-14mpg, but for me the trade off for the increased power is worth it.

genuine car guy I am. so as far as the car it's a good car. my brother has a 2014 malibu ltz and he hasn't had to do anything to it and has about 90k miles on it. as far as price goes, it is a bit more expensive than you can get them for elsewhere. it's a dealership so they are making money on it.
