Do they tax social security payments from the US in spain?
@tomlarson71324 күн бұрын
Yes, you're still a US citizen if you receive SSI and you'll need to pay taxes on those payments. It is considered income in the USA.

I did a ROBS with Catchfire Funding to use a C corp to setup and start a restaurant business. I am now considering the best way to start taking income from it. My wife is still working and getting social security, I have a pension and social security, so our income tax bracket is a concern. I am currently receiving reimbursement for a loan to the business (on top of the 401k RO).

Hi thanks for the info, very well articulated. I’m questioning if the amount of 50-60k is the same for a single person or was that amount for you and hubby? I’m thinking it’s less if you’re applying as a single person .
@KovilaritchАй бұрын
Everything I've read seems to indicate the requirement is 400% the IPREM in Spain for a single person and an additional 100% per family member. The current IPREM is 600 euros per month or $650 per month. So a single person would need to show $2600 per month and a couple would need $3250 per month. I am no expert, but that's what I've found through some googling.

I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

Quitting didn't just save my sanity. It sent a message along with the other resignations that the system has to change. There are too many broken teachers out there and too many kids being let down by a system with no resources or consequences.

I have been wanting to get for about 4 years now. I am really good at what I do (Reading Interventionist) but I don’t make any money (private school) and I love cross stitch and quilting. I have run a longarm business for almost 20 years on the side and have spent years teaching my customers how to quilt better. I have a YT channel for the cross stitch as well.

The video is good! It is very important for any person to find something to strive for and fight for no matter what the circumstances. Once you set the right goal for yourself, making decisions will be easy and fun. What used to seem like an excruciating chore will turn into an enjoyable activity. Go where your labour will be needed! Go where there is money and where your work will be decently paid! Sooner or later you will have to co-operate with people of different nationalities and cultures. To make your business successful, you should learn a foreign language. I would like to recommend to you Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips on learning foreign language". This book will help you to structure and organise your individual language learning process, will give you the opportunity to independently determine the methodology of language learning, which will become interesting and unburdensome. In this amazing book everyone will find a lot of useful information: how to learn foreign languages, how to memorise information, how to deal with culture shock, what to pay attention to when travelling to another country. I am convinced that the book "Polyglot Notes" should be in the bag of every business person, school and college student, and tourist. The most important thing is that the book gives a good motivation. Don't be afraid to do something to realise your dreams! If people realised that fears have no connection with reality, everyone would live a much better life. Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video. Your videos motivate me and give me new ideas!

@@TheFreedomStrategy So, I found that Law Students are all rushing towards corporate. There is a dirth of good advocates in litigation. They don't prefer joining the Judiciary. And academia is an afterthought. Even those who study criminal law, do not care to study psychology, sociology, economics, forensics... The social sciences and humanities are essential in law. Law school is supposed to be an interdisciplinary melting pot. I wish to make criminology mainstream again.
