Yes, it's definitely a great option! Did you end up going with something like this or traditional insurance?

Love this topic! I wish it were covered more often and more well-known. I’ve been using Liberty HealthShare since 2016 and it’s worked very well for me. They have paid every bill I’ve submitted (within sharing guidelines) outside of my annual unshared amount (i.e. deductible). They also covered the ENTIRE cost of my $200K surgery for my third hip replacement (yes, my THIRD!) outside of the annual unshared amount (at that time just $500).

You are very unusual if they have paid your claims in a quick mannet because there are over a thousand complaints from the Attorney General and over 265 recent cases with the Ohio AG. Also a new Class Action Case has recently been filed...oh and check out what they pay their execs by searching their 990

Yes!! Yes!! Yes!! This is one of my biggest fears if my husband left his job...insurance. He gets ahhhmazing insurance. He's is covered 100% by his job and myself and kids are super cheap with very little out of pocket costs. Every doctor's office I go makes a point to tell how good we have it. It's scary but so happy I watched your video I didn't know we had so many options for shared health care!

Shirlee Alicia yes! Very scary indeed! We were in the same boat - totally awesome insurance through my hubby's job! But we jumped with both feet and never looked back! So glad we did!!

So lets say you have to go to the ER for an accident and you wind up spending a few days in the hospital. You know how much that would cost out of pocket $$$$? With this type of plan you better have deep pockets and be ok with waiting months to get reimbursed.
@TheFreedomStrategy2 жыл бұрын
HI Tim. These plans aren't for everyone. But in reality, most hospitals will work with you on timing and expectations if you are an out of pocket cash payer. And they will heavily discount the bills, as well. It is a good option for some, but not all.

Do you happen to know anything about this company: Universal Health Fellowship? I just signed up for it after losing my health insurance; this was the cheapest option.

Such Great Info... What happens if you all of a sudden get really sick- hospital, surgery.... do you have to pay up front-- Could be hundreds of thousands of dollars ,,,,,Concept sounds awesome
@TheFreedomStrategy5 жыл бұрын
That's a great question Eli! Usually, hospitals and physicians that work through hospitals are more than willing to work directly with and bill directly to the healthshare plan. I've spoken with several people who had major health events and this is how it was handled!

@@TheFreedomStrategy good to know ! would love to get off of this hamster wheel --Choices are so limited, and so --expensive.My-- wife had to have 3 MRIs -- I had to pay 1500 before they would do them ... And that was the copay with BCBS- our only choice if you get your own insurance-- outa hand ....

What you mean quite that 9 to 5. My doctor, dentist, lawyer, and others work 9 to 5. I do too. If everybody quite their 9 to 5 how the world is going to function? lol I think what you meant was quite your miserable, boring, unaspirated, low paying job that even a robot can do it.
