Grips look good man. Nice video. I also carry a BBR 45acp.

1) would like to see it actually plucking a bird. 2) why leave the top of motor exposed to water manifold and quick disconnect splashes. Maybe build a cover. Awesome build if it works.

I'm just a little confused. In the description it says 1/8 inch plate. The feather plate in the video is stamped with 0.125 (1/8), but he says the plate is 3/16.

That nicely dresses up your Baby Rock. I looked at one at my LGS but found the thickness of the double stack, not to my med. hands liking. Oddly enough there was Springfield Armory EMP on consignment (PO was opting for a SA Hellcat as his EDC). He was motivated, so accepted my offer for his LNIB EMP. I like this class sized pistol

What is the Holster you are using for your BBR
@SouthernEngineering
@SouthernEngineering Ай бұрын
The holster is for a full-size 1911, but it fits perfectly for my compact BBR. The nice part is that the extra leather at the end of the barrel increases comfort and prevents it from rubbing on my hip. It is an OWB right hip, but I wear it inside on my left hip for a cross-draw. I purchased the holster from Amazon: amzn.to/3YBbOhf It's in great shape, I still use it today and after 3 years the leather feels just right against my skin. Do you carry a BBR?

What size grips work? Officer model grips? I want pearl
@SouthernEngineering
@SouthernEngineering 2 ай бұрын
They make the grips custom. The BBR is a double stack, and thus, a relief area is cut into the back of the grip. Contact them, they should be able to make what you want.

When you beat anything piloted on a hub=small engine flywheel or pulley, Brake rotor or drum, or even a stuck wheel - try and use two or three different weight forged (Plumb) ball peen whammers on it. The whole thing is to make the lighter less sturdy part vibrate like the science experiment with sugar on a steel plate having a fiddle bow drawn across its edge. You want it to vibrate two or three different patterns if possible. You have to oil the stuck place and patiently whomp with it with light-ish, medium and heavy-ish hammers. If it just refuses then step up to an actually heavy hammer that weighs about half as much as the thing you're bashing. Then - by the time you get genuinely angry and curse it the part will then fall off while you have your back turned catching your breath.

No, the mantel is my own design. I never made a video of it but many people ask for plans, all I can offer is a followup video of the design; it's easy to make. kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGqqhGNqiayim68 I hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting, I do appreciate it.

Looks fantastic! I have a 9 mm BBR, two questions please. 1) where did you get the finger extensions (the foot) for the magazine floor plate? 2) which holster did you show? Thank you!
@SouthernEngineering
@SouthernEngineering 7 ай бұрын
Hi Bruce, Congrats, I love my BBR as an EDC, I don't leave home without it. How do you like your? My apologies for this late response. I've been on the road. I have a couple of affiliate links Grip amzn.to/3wmGAhC Holster amzn.to/49ONE4X The holster is very comfortable. I wear it cross-draw, but it works just fine on either hip. The grip ext. needs to be trimmed on the small end to fit in my BBR frame, but it's simple enough; you can use a knife or dremel. Install it on the mag, then insert it, and you will see what needs to be cut. I also used just a drop of silicone to make sure they don't come loose. Thanks for watching and commenting, it's much appreciated.

Curious what you got out of the rears. On my 2018 my rears were gone bad at 55k and now at 70k about to do the fronts. The new electronic brake and traction control uses the rear brakes a lot more now. But I’ve heard rear replacement in a wide range of mileages and maybe that is just driver related.

Same here, I'm a simple minded farmer, I need to build a chicken farm, I nearly bought timber sworth to build a house, I got my cousin to help me out, he used used timbers and other off cuts etc.. he didn't use any of my timbers. Yeah, I basic is the same but the materials cost and uses, that is the part differ.
