I’ve thought about using Wattpad as a lower cost way to start getting exposure for it once I have written it but I’m very worried about someone stealing my idea going that route so it’s nice to understand some of the ways I can protect my book

Hello everyone, I have been trying to turn my book into reality for the past 13 or so years and just seem to fail short. I have many pre writing notes dating from my high school days and I want to make sure everything is fitted snugly in their respective chapters. My struggle is that I have OCD and everything has to look, sound and feel flawless, so I never get anything done. I love to write as you can see but I’m probably the best overthinker in the world. Once my book is finished my goal is to connect my writing on Wattpad and release chapters one by one to create a little suspense to the viewers , and once I get tons of viewers - start a KZbin channel and do “chapter in-depth explaining”. So yeah , I have the foundation for everything but to actually start writing knowing I have to edit sounds challenging to me since I want my first draft to be flawless enough to not even have a 2nd Any feedback is appreciated 😊
