Last year I received a colt combat commander 45 for my birthday. This year I received a Colt Defender 45. Both blued are they are outstanding shooters! Question... Both of mine came with one Magazine. Did Colt decide 1 mag as opposed to 2 or did my LGS rip me off? Thanks! BTW.... Next acquisition will be the newly released Colt Commander in 38 super :).

Not that it would happen, but over time & if moisture leaked into the can, the cardboard boxes could cause the ammo to rust b/c cardboard retains moisture... keep it loosie goosie, just in case.

I’m the opposite. Black mags for 300blk to fit the name. Also I found myself using metal mags on my 5.56 and polymer on the 300blk to help a lil further

I have two polo K’s in jail. Can’t wait for them to get approved. Currently at day 49 as a 1RP Trust. Andrew from OCL said that he’d paint them black to fde for anyone who wanted one but couldn’t find one in stock for about $40 if I remember right. I’m sure he’d do fde to black as well. I keep em in the box. I understand the dump method when you have thousands of rounds but I’m a regular guy with 4 boxes of ammo, utilize the rest of the can space.

If their scope was dialed in with that particular ammo, that's more or less how tight the group would be at 50 yards. They probably tested several types of different ammo and didn't bother to dial each one in to POA/POI as long as the groups were all on paper.

you do realize that barrel harmonics changes with every bullet so if you want to take the time to use a barrel tuner you can tune the harmonics to improve the group sizes by alot!

Thank you for doing a test like this except I note a general trend the results got worse as the testing progressed. I think to verify results and eliminate the possibility of a fouled barrel, loose action screw, meandering scope, or other variables you might consider running another group or two of the best performing ammo at the end.
