How are you getting so much range from your bike battery? On my most recent charge, I have about a 60% charge after 10 miles (16 km) of riding. Granted I'm carrying a shite-ton of gear w/me w/a backpack & a pannier bag plus a food delivery bag on the bike rack The battery is rated for 20 miles (32 km). I have the Step-Thru model.

Range is highly dependent on so many things. I can tell you that I weighed about 200lbs at the time of this test. I was in good shape and carried high speeds for most of the ride. As a result, most of the effort was put in by me. Meaning, if you put it in low assistance levels and carry speeds of 18+ mph. The bike really doesn't use much of the battery.

I have the WMC30516HZ (built in, with trim kit like yours) and looked everywhere for a microwave that would fit in the cavity within my cabinets, but continued to run into the issue of the depth of the cavity being 18". I have been told by several people that microwaves are getting bigger and the ones that are built-in need more depth than that. I was at a loss until I came across your video. I just purchased a Panasonic NN-SC73LS from Home Depot, am going to install it tonight with the old trim kit from the Whirlpool model WMC30516HZ, just like your video. If it does I'm going to buy an extra Panasonic NN-SC73LS so I don't run into this issue again in 8-10 years! Thank you for the video, even if it doesn't work out.

I got the same error and have been struggling with it. And indeed it is battery loose connection. I have installed padding inside. I have given it to dealer nd they said it fixed it. I am hoping to get it back. I ride hard on trial and I think you too do as well. All the best!!
@InfiniteMishaps
@InfiniteMishaps Ай бұрын
@@mirknight1 yes, I think this could be the issue. I did ride it on a xc mtb trail the weekend before I did this video. It is possible that it jostled loose on that ride and didn’t quite lose connection until my normal road ride I did in the wet. I am investigating it, the good news is that I have been riding after it dried for a day with seemingly no further issues. I did open the battery tray and remove/reinstall the battery just in case. I think a thicker strap (maybe rubber) around the down tube and some extra padding inside the battery compartment might help. I’ve read on the giant emtb forums that the battery connector part can be adjusted for a tighter fit. I don’t know if that is possible with this system.

I've got the Wabash RT and it's a great bike as an All Road bike for riding multiple terrains, including gravel roads. I got this from Google Error 71comes up On a Yamaha e-bike, error code 71 typically indicates a problem with the battery connection or stability, often caused by the battery moving too much within its mount, leading to a temporary loss of power or connection during riding; this is a common issue on Haibike e-bikes which often use Yamaha motors, and can usually be resolved by securing the battery more firmly in its mount with additional padding or adjusting the battery lock mechanism. Key points about error code 71: Battery related: This error is almost always related to the battery, either a loose connection or movement within the frame. Check battery mounting: Inspect the battery mounting system for looseness or potential for movement, especially on bumpy terrain. Secure the battery: Try adding padding or adjusting the battery lock mechanism to prevent movement. What to do if you see error code 71: Check battery connections: Ensure the battery is properly connected to the bike. Tighten battery mounting screws: Check and tighten all screws securing the battery to the frame. Add padding: Consider adding foam padding around the battery to prevent movement. Contact your dealer: If adjusting the battery mount does not resolve the issue, consult your bike dealer for further assistance.

You are lucky it was that easy. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the 2.2 Cu Ft microwaves. I have a KitchenAid (which is a brand of Whirlpool) KMCS3022GSS microwave with a similar trim kit as in the video. The turntable didn't work and some of the digit segments on the display don't light up. I bought a Panasonic NN-SN97HS microwave attempting to replace it. What I found is that the height of the Panasonic was about a 1/4" too tall so it wouldn't fit through the trim piece opening. The feet on the bottom of the Panasonic were spread a bit wider than the Kitchenaid. Faced with either trying to somehow modify the existing trim kit or spend an additional $240+ for a Panasonic trim kit (about 50% more than the price of the microwave itself) and still having to modify the cabinet opening to use it, I decided to see if I could fix the KitchenAid. I ended up getting a replacement turntable motor (about $13 on Amazon) which fixed the turntable, and we will live with the display as I didn't see anything simple to solve that short of replacing the control panel which would have cost over $100 if I could even find a good source. Looking online it seems that even Similarly sized Whirlpool / KitchenAid microwaves available now are taller than mine and use a different trim kit. The Panasonic is being returned to Costco.

After 175 miles I can say that level 1 pas works very well for my style of riding, helping to make the trip feel as level as possible. I avg 10 mph and am not a power rider, rather I am in the game for exercise and exploration and this bike helps me get a nice workout without causing too much stress on my heart, one that has been vegging in the lazy-boy for too many years. I do use the higher modes, especially on the way home from more daring excursions, and find auto mode to be very flexible and easy to control depending upon the type of pedaling one uses. The front leaning rest position took a bit to get used to, but now I prefer it and feel it to be a powerful angle for "digging in" and transferring muscle power to the wheel. @@ethanhu7048 it was more a test to see if it could hold up on that trail. It did well. I agree, this is more well suited for the Moro. I have a 2019 giant trance e+ pro which has the same motor and battery as the Moro. It’s a lot more fun on that trail. 😅 While I think the crosscore could do it. I think like you said I’ll stick to riding my giant on mtb trails.

Great review. I just bought one off of your review and just received it. I can't seem to get a water bottle cage to fit it - did you mount a water bottle cage to yours? If so, would love to know what you purchased. Thanks!

@@DavidAnderson-se1or I have not attempted this yet. I would think the bosses on the down tube would accept a water bottle cage as that is what they are meant for. That and perhaps a range extender option that never came to market.
