How would you compare the XLT seats to the Platinum seats on longer days? I am eyeballing the XLT but was not sure if the seats will be uncomfortable for the wife when we drive 10 hours to Colorado.

@@marcochavanne Comparable however my Platinum has massaging seats and in addition to being heated, they also ventilate. Massaging is a bit of a misnomer though. There are about 7 air bladders of which 3 in the seat backs are adjustable. The other 4 are in the lower seat. The massaging function inflates and deflates each of the 7 areas in sequence, rather slowly. You don’t get a vibration but more of a push/fill and relax/deflate from each air bag. It does help with the circulation so you don’t get a tired rear end. I use them on the longer drives often. The XLT’s “cloth” seats are the very durable plastic feel seats that Ford has had for a long time. Very similar to my old 2009 F-150.

Out here in Utah, the speed limits are 70-80 MPH on the interstates. If I drove 59 MPH, I'd be impeding traffic LOL. My Trailer's tires are rated for 87 MPH so I keep it around 70 most of the time while towing. Also, the F250 Tremor's use the Rear Axle and leaf springs from the F350 so they do weigh more. Godzilla typically stays in 8th gear while cruising and towing.

It works on diesels, you’ll just have to trim a little bit of the plate the winch mounts to.

I mounted this on my 22 6.7. I did have to trim 1/2” or so, but it wasn’t bad.

@@7n4163 not really. I have a pic of the winch fully mounted with the bumper still off and a pic of the plate mounted from underneath, but no picture of the actually plate after it was cut.

That was the part I dreaded the most. Bought a new grinder and everything. Then after I took the bumper off, this bumper did not have that part in the way. I didn't even need the grinder!

I found that I could download and Print them from their site and could actually see the images on my home printed version. Just a tip if you haven't started yet.

Definitely louder than the Stock Warn winch in my F350 Tremor.

I'm not bragging. Just pointing out that you can still use a short bed truck to tow a fifth wheel. This does not compare to a semi truck. Sounds like you are the one bragging about your skills.

This is why you test this before you get into a bad position.

Tremor does not come with a long bed. Showing that you can do this with a short bed - 6' 9".

Yes I did. To my friend who actually bought this truck after I told him it was for sale. I removed the winch before trading it in to the dealer then my friend bought it!

The Tow/Haul Mode uses the transmission to downshift and slow the truck. I’ve gone down some long steep grades here in Utah and hardly touched the brakes. Giving a firm press and release on the brakes will force downshift and hold it there. Super Duty brakes are large and I’ve never experienced any fade or loss of braking power. I’ve heard that the delaminating issues have been with the lower power rated engines that are being used in commercial applications like Uhauls and delivery trucks. The Godzilla is truly a beast. I just bought an F350 Power Stroke Diesel Tremor cause of the color and have pulled the same trailer with it. I honestly had a better towing experience with the F250 Gasser.

Alot of failure with this motor and transmission. You will not like the gas motor in Colorado if you tow more than 8000 pounds. I have a 2023 7.3. Not impressed. Came from a 2015 powerstroke. I am running back to diesel.
