I love Dom Jolly! THT is one of the most underrated comedy shows FULLSTOP. IMO its right up there with Brass Eye in quality but never gets the plaudits that it deserves. World Shut your Mouth and his other shows brilliant too (the new THT that came out a few years ago wasn't quite of the same calibre sadly). The show he did going around the world drinking with his mate is also one of the best travel shows ever broadcast on UK TV. Would like to hear his take on current situation in the Middle East as he was born in Lebanon.

Slow the traffic down with his Scoot traffic light control system and his 20mph Zones Then bring in road charging per mile and time in the zone. Your new on line internet connected vehicle with build in speed restrictor will play straight into his plans. But he needs the ULEZ cameras still at the moment. I was in a TFL Meeting with these decisions in 2023

Quickest possible way to reverse any benefits the ULEZ may have provided in the first place: Oh, no real advantage for being electric? Ok, we'll revert to diseasel before the ban on new vehicles comes in and flood the London atmosphere with particulates again, it make significantly more economic sense to the vehicle owners than investing in electric infrastructure and 50% higher initial purchase prices...

As a builder for forty years, I agree with your "3 rules of construction." There is a certain amount of professionalism in our business. However, as far as "not taking that contract," I think it is more often than not a good thing. As a Londoner who has cycled for the last 10 years I can assure your air quality has improved dramatically, but until the day no black crap ends up on my tissues when I blow my nose we have more work to do. I think it’s great that classics are exempt for ULEZ. Trades in central London should be looking at electric vans, the journey distances are short.

I’m going to get at least three quotes, so you might say what’s £60, it’s 3x£60. If you produce a full itemised breakdown of works that others can also quote from, and modify if they wish, then fine.
