What I'm interested in because I'm going for 2 months in 2025 where the locals live. If I wanted to live in a modern part of the city I would stay home. I want to see the traditional neighborhoods

Loved Tenby back in the 1980s and visited Caldey island . However given the latest news about caldey Unfortunately you might want to revisit your comment when you said i bets there is no crime here

@@AronXplores I know it is awful. Spent two summer seasons working in Tenby in the 1980s loved it. Remember visiting caldey so when you see the news it’s quite chilling . Your video was really enjoyable keep it up. I like your style , you captured Tenby very well.

Sorry but Mancora is a dump even compared to 10 years ago when it was 5/10. Now it's just a slum. People rip you off constantly. The rudeness was shocking it's unbelievable when you get ice cream or buy something people can actually be that sad looking. Lots of begging. I came on business so I was forced once again to come to this $hit Hole.

Don't be sorry, It's certainly not up to normal standard, the best bit for me is the surf spot and that coffee shop. Otherwise it's way overpriced and run down compared to anywhere in south Asia.

Cash is still king over there. We took a taxi there. If you are staying in a hotel they will connect you with a trustworthy one. but there are also minibuses that go there

I can't type it here in full but it's a website called BOOKING after staying a couple of nights you can make arrangements with the hotel and cut out the middle man

Hi, What would you rate Malcorra out of 10? I’m thinking of going but it kinda looks abit too quiet and rundown in parts (mainly buildings/surroundings). Also if there is any, what other places would you recommend that is more holiday-esque with good nightlife, I went last year to paracas, Cusco/machu Picchu, and I’m planning going over next year in either May or September, thanks 🙂

Honestly, it really depends on what you want out of your trip. But I'll give Mancora a 6/10. The beauty, price, hotels, drinks, food, excursions etc. can't compete with the likes of Thailand and Bali, and Sri lanka in my opinion. You can see what I filmed so visually you know what it looks like (a bit run down). It's a good place if you want to chill on the beach, and go for a surf, have a coffee in the day and don't expect too much. I don't think I'd stay more than a few days. the nightlife is not very good in town. Another thing I found, the price you spend on a hotel doesn't necessarily match how good it is, just because it's right on the beach doesn't mean it's going to be better in terms of cleanliness, food, or anything else. I think of it as a place to get away from the city for the weekend. Not a full on holiday. I've not travelled much in Peru , just Mancora and Zorritos (then headed back to Ecuador). Good luck with your trip wherever you end up going.

That was really well done, thank you! I was there in January and it was sunny the entire week. I got the Tranvia pass at the airport and it was a little complicated and bureaucratic but in a funny way. They require your passport. And I walked around Gringolandia and was told it's not so much the amount of gringos that live there as the style of buildings, modern high rises. But some are tastefully done. I've subscribed and will be looking forward to more videos

AHH that's Great! Strange that they require a passport to use the Tranvia. Also thanks for clearing up the Gringolandia subject, it actually made me laugh as I totally thought it was because so many gringos lived there. Thanks for the sub, I'm back in the UK now but will be back in Ecuador in the future for more videos. But for now I will make some in UK and anywhere else I travel. Take care

They've remodeled and cleaned mercado 10 de augusta. The food has always been wonderful but you could lose your appetite if you looked up at the ceiling.

@AronXplores I don't know for sure. My last visit was 2018, and it was still dirty. I've noticed the ceiling was cleaned in a couple other videos. Food was great all the same😊.

Headed to Quito solo, in 4 days.. my city in the US is 1,500 meters above sea level, and I’m going to spend the day at a near by mountain that’s 3,000 meters the day before I leave. Hopefully that will help with the altitude in Ecuador… thanks for the content! 👍🏼
