So grateful to be able to call myself a Dead Head.... Thank you Grateful Dead for helping me see my way thru troubled times and for giving me a path to find my way home. You gave me so many roads to ease my soul (~};=]

Every time Jerry looks back at the band and smiles heart melts. Look around, round, round.

They should play this instead of the Star Spangled Banner before sporting events. Better tune, easier to sing along, and plenty of time to pee if the spirit moves you.

It is who I am, I’m a retired FF/paramedic/ reserve deputy. I’m open to new ideas. I fruition suffer from PTSD. The Dead is my only refuge. I saw them in the day as @ 14 yo hitchhiking run-a/way from Sac, CA. I saw them at the ,Avalon, Fillmore , Golden Gate Park ( free). The Dead are and remain my connection to sanity! I mean that. The spirit was different then!

I finally moved to SF a year ago. Jerry is still here. I feel his presence sometimes, and spend some nights playing music with him on my guitar. The difficult thing is, I miss him now more than I ever have. And it's a good thing!

Pretty sure these were the years Jerry was sober, and spending time in Hawaii, making art and scuba diving. Gettong a tan and taking better care of his self. This is the coolest thing the dead ever did. Fuking flute guitar

About ten years ago my friend and confidant Jesse asked me to take contents of ipod and transfer to flash drive for his laptop, and when I opened it's saw it was very large and one band, the Dead. An old school street vato from Whittier present for police anti cruisingr riot and active during summer 65 so no surprise. The music catalogue was a find. I'm interesting music, broadcasting public radio and interaction with body chem. I was going to listen to whole thing and listened exclusively to it just to observre and see. Took over 2 weeks til completion and what happened was standout ---'Every time this China cat songm played I starteted a smile and by song end was beaming. Was over50 and suffer chronic depression for months at a time sinc abrupt adult onset age 26 so very meaningful and I mined my brain only minutes after realizing was of value to me personally I rephrased from the orginal intent replacing it with new goal of a smile. I used a therapy for foodn disorder with contrary action with adherence 😊to non aggression disallowing client participation in combination with pragmmic easily identifiied nwhen ntufur0dbio feedback Ĺ N😊theusthbwothn non aggression, c D

Got cut of being brief. Biofeedback was partiicipitory and was distracting from subversion of the other 🎉sublminal therapy which was based on aikido the only martial art with no attack moves. Listening exclusively to this song repeating few renditions, never breaking listening always to completion. ,I'm 66 that was about at 52 and immediate effect was smile outside environmental and biochemical influences used as tonic regulary useing original protocol with increasing effectiveness , a great and profound use creating a positive trigger that now is absolutely immediate and deeper every year. I've used this to create triggers replacing clinging to chronic delusions making up harmless replacement easy to surrendered upon invitation and a scenario made up identified by trial error and stretegy to find a scenario where even of remote possibility daily and constant suicidal ideation would be intolerable and rejected as a option on any level. Immediate and locked in permanently. I never came across this version because it has qualities I never heard before,.. now I hear it and instantly join George Constantas TV

That there is a Smokin' Locomotive howling through the Wild Parts of Galaxies. That Train Ruts in the Stars. I got to see them during this stretch of shows. Positive Lightning. That kind of Energy must eventually consume. It got Brett right after this. That's going out in a Glorious Blaze. Does anybody else have the feeling that Mr. Jerome kept a secret stash of "Back up, Bobby, I got this..." as evidenced when J went to take his "I wish I was a headlight" verse, and Bobby was stepping on it, Jerry's voice suddenly didn't seem so frail...and he scorched the earth from there on in...? Righteous Jam, Right On Time.
