The date on this is wrong. 7/12/90 was RFK. This is definitely 7/33/90 Tinley Park & sadly what would be Brent’s last show. Jerry’s wolf guitar is the giveaway. It was the only time he played it on that tour. Also RFK was slightly more upbeat. Serious irony in Brent’s final lyric with the GD. “I gotta go but my friend can stick around.” RIP Brent & Jerry. Damn I miss this band.

Can't put in words how much I miss BRENT AND JERRY. WHEN JERRY PASSED AWAY I SAID THAT'S IT THE BOAT FINALLY SUNK. HAVEN'T BEEN TO A HD CONCERT SINCE 23 DAMN YEARS THAN A OLD HEAD FRIEND BOUGHT ME A TICKET FOR DEAD AND CO AND I COULDN'T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS SEEING THE SCENE WAS AWESOME, THE OLDER HEADS WERE THERE ALONG WITH A NEW GEN OF HEAD'S AND LET ME SAY THE MUSIC WAS AWESOME BOBBY SOUNDS OLD SINGING BUT HE CAN STILL PLAY A LICK AND the new guitar player, having a brain fart is surprisingly very good he isn't trying to sound like JERRY he is doing his own thing. But it's close enough to get the same feeling. So after 23 years I went to a DEAD AND CO SHOW AND HAD FUCKIN BLAST. I RECOMMEND GOING TO AT LEAST ONE BEFORE IT IS REALLY DONE AND THE REMAINDER OF SHIP DROPS BELOW THE WAVES FOR EVER.

You need to change the date. I saw this clip elsewhere on KZbin and they had it being on 7-23-90.

was Jery back on horse then?
@MrMonkchuck6 жыл бұрын
Actually no. This was during a period of time when he was clean. Brent on the other hand was a mess on this tour. Speedball express & he died of an OD not long after the tour was over. So sad.

My understanding is that he was back on. beginning summer ‘89. At least, that’s how the story has been shared.
