technically the JS2000 is the best overall statswise but my favorite is the DE pistol also why did you pick the m14 it is garbage against hordes and mediocre against small groups. rifles aren't good anyway since you never really need to snipe zombies

One of my favourite places to set base is in the apartments above the food market in West Point, once I've cleared the area I like to wall of the alleyway out the back and put a gate between the food market and the office buildings which gives plenty of space for cars also it connects to a little tool shop which has most of what you need and if it doesn't there's plenty of other shops near by that cover everything

This Insta Kill thing, charging at zombies with a spear, although doesn't it doesn't seem to work, does however, seem to allow you to clip right through the zombies. Makes me wonder if you can clip through full on hordes this way...

i think the fire one is true but you kept running through more than 1 tile of fire so it kept setting you on fire since as long as you run through just 1 tile of fire you dont get set on fire

Backing up in a car through zombies *IS* in fact faster, but being on grass it doesn’t matter much, sometimes your vehicle can get stuck in grass going forward and backing up while still slow you’ll rarely get stuck.

8:00 it is faster to drive reverse off road whenever zomboid is doing the thing where your car will randomly slow down to 1 mph for literally no reason, for some reason reversing prevents the bug from what ive seen.

Poor planning is the problem with this company. When they announced that they had solved the code problem to make new crafts viable, they should have focused on that and not wasted energy on secondary mechanics. They are only delaying the base of build 42 and increasing the chance of a flop.

Why do they never mention the powers, Shovel, it has good damage, high range, with a high probability of knocking down a zombie and if multi-hit is active, it can hit up to 4 zombies at once

Out of complete realism, both building structures and taking down structures should level up carpentry and mechanics because I mean, let’s be honest. There are faster ways to bring down a door and build a door then just smacking it with a hammer Like let’s be honest, smacking with a hammer in one way will make it longer while smacking another way will make it shorter. You smack it in the middle. It should be open by the smack on the top or on the sides you’re going to take longer so I feel like it should stay where you can tear down houses to level up carpentry.

The insta kill with spear is a 100% that exists(currently playing pz) maybe try going out of god mode and fight zombies regularly and it should work.

Crowbar is my favorite, especially if I have a trait that gives me bonus long blunt. It is very nice to never have to worry about yoru weapon breaking, and they are pretty available throughout the world in sheds and warehouses.

If they at least buff the XP we earn by doing such actions, I can see it as an improvement. I dislike hard grinding in most games and PZ at least gave me the option to buff XP gain in sandbox, but I get that people are accostumed to how it works nowadays. Despite some skills being useless and a pain to level up (such as First Aid), people still enjoy maxing out a character, even if takes days to accomplish. If they just straight up remove XP earnings from dismantling furniture, which is the main way to level up, and don't make up for it in any other way, it's just the dumbest decision they ever made, so I hope they'll rework the XP system.

I think everyone is going to be playing build 41 with mods until the modders make all the good ones work for build 42 anyway

I hope Project Zomboid is the new Dark Souls in the sense of being a really nice niche, and then later becoming mainstream. At least in the good sense of mainstream.
