Nice unboxing video. I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. The card that was next to/against the piece of gum. What if it leaves a mark on that card? I have almost a full box of 1986 series 5 that I want to list or sell. What if that piece of gum leaves a mark on the card? Is the buyer going to be upset and return... What do you think? Thanks!
@dillongentryАй бұрын
The back of the Ruptured Rupert was next to the gum and it definitely has a distinct rectangular mark on the surface of the card. Unfortunately you should expect one card in all unopened GPK packs to be potentially damaged by the gum.

How soundproofed would a shed like this be? I’m looking at building an outhouse music room to teach singing students- I don’t care about having a fully soundproofed studio but would want a level of sound reduction so may neighbours wouldn’t hate me. If anyone could give me any guidance I’d really appreciate it!
@dillongentryАй бұрын
Once the insulation and drywall was added, the acoustics and sound control is comparable to any other residential structure. I wouldn't call it sound-PROOF (drums or a full band rehearsal would be a stretch unless you have super cool neighbors) but I can record guitar and vocals at a reasonable volume and I seriously doubt my neighbors can even hear it. If anyone complains about singing lessons, bust out the leaf blower and tell them to take their pick. Thanks for watching!

How is it holding up? Any tricks for moisture barrier on the roof or did insulation directly in those gaps do ok?
@dillongentryАй бұрын
Doing great. A lot of folks swear you’re supposed to put in a gap between the insulation and roof but so far so good. I’m sure that 24/7 climate control is a big part of that. Thanks for watching!

@dillongentry2 ай бұрын
Here in Beaverton Oregon you don’t need a building permit if the structure is under 200 square feet. however there are some height restrictions and setbacks you still need to watch out for. Good luck.

Absolutely beautiful.... $20K give or take seems to be about the going rate if you're going to build a totally separate, unattached "room". I opted to build (...i.e. frame) a room inside my garage. I just needed a drum booth, for now. But, I've always been curious about going this route. Glad I found this video. This was very informative...thank you for sharing.

For sure. The 12k MiniSplit is probably overkill for this square footage. We have temperatures well below freezing in winter and over 100° F in the summer and it stays very very comfy.
@dinkyshopYT2 ай бұрын
Do you have roof venting? With a conditioned space, that roof needs venting so mold doesn’t grow / get trapped under the roof sheathing (btw the insulation and roof deck underside). Could be an issue if you get below 50 degrees or freezing.
