Happy Birthday Emily. I wish everyone the best of birthday's and also, I believe that no matter what age we turn in 2024 that everyone should celebrate it in any way that they can and do it the best that they want to with friends and family. It should be celebrated in an awesome way.

This is a film I've been fond of since finding this channel way back in 2015. I wrote my first short film (also in 2015) while watching and dissecting this film, and revisited it in the fall of 2020 while writing my first feature. Great work. It seems so effortless, and after watching the behind the scenes, I know it absolutely was NOT effortless.

Finally found this after looking for weeks. It meant a lot to me as an abused high school girl after my mother died. It means a lot again as I try for my first child now.

I'm making my first film in three weeks and I remember watching this series when you first released them and thinking "these will come in handy one day" and here I am, re watching them for the third time this month and yet again, theses videos are helping me so much.

I was just watching a video om Ptolemy's solar system theory and the animation had a song by múm in the background. I immediately had to watch this back! It's strange because I've grown up quite a bit since I first watched this. I started university. I moved out. I made new, younger friends to whom I'm kind of 'the mum friend'. I really liked this video when I first saw it at age 17, but I think I understand everything you're saying a little bit better now. Writing this at 22, I'm definitely not a child anymore, but I don't really mind being a grown up. I think I got it. Thanks for sharing this video (and thanks for introducing this band to me ;) I used one of their songs in a theater piece I directed in high school!)

This was really lovely visually, but I don't actually agree with most of these... #4 - Its important to view your parents as humans, as idolising anyone/anything can be really problematic... Its not good to put certain people on a pedestool, but better to view us as all equal... Each capable of teaching each other things... Parents can still learn from their children, & I think its healthy for young children to know that ❤ #3 - Its important to know this, so that you can emphasise the importance of gratitude... Appreciating each & every moment. (Also helps to avoid #9) 2 - It keeps you humble, open minded, & appreciate new knowledge brought to the table, when you're aware that the well of knowledge is endless. 5 - Kids need to know that their feelings are valid... Its ok to frown if your feeling sad, its important to find reasons to be grateful yes, but that doesn't mean you have to be positive all the time, & fake a smile, its ok to feel sad. 6 - A strong attachment to identity is unhealthy... We need to know we are all a moving cog, that's part of a big picture... We can let go of the ego, to feel more comfortable just 'being'. 7 - I agree with. Hope is important ❤ But needs to be coupled with explaining that dreams don't happen unless you make them your priority... You can't expect things to fall from the sky, you have to make things happen. Know your power ❤
