Emily, I was at lunch with one of my friends earlier this week. We were talking about how much we have learned over the years from watching your channel. I remember the day I purchased "The Water's Fine" and how excited I was to see it completed. Thank you for sharing the behind the scenes and the process of making your films/series. You've encouraged me to use whatever I have and make the ideas in my head. I'm so glad Verizon picked this up for you. Can't wait for everything else you'll make!

Emily, Jamie this series is really fantastic. I just recently moved to Los Angeles and have been feeling a bit gloomy since I lost my film crew and all the collaborators from my old town. This helped, it was therapeutic in a way - maybe seeing the flow of pre-production that I've been missing lately. You all did something really great with this series and I'm so thankful that you decided to share your creative process. I'm also so happy that you're not sugar-coating the process and are sharing the realities of your project. Thanks again for sharing!

That was one thing that bothered me in the trailer, like maybe I'm wrong I don't know. I'm in the UK so I can't see it (I hope I can soon), but as soon as I heard the dialogue I thought: "That's not Emily's writing.." Maybe you were involved but the dialogue sounded very blatant and obvious like in most American shows rather than your short where the dialogue didn't reveal to much but the answers were on the actors performance.. Obviously I don't want to base an opinion too strongly on a trailer as I haven't seen then actual show, but I just found the dialogue to be too strayed away from your original style.. made me sad a little because I got the sense perhaps you all wanted to cater to a wider audience rather than the audience that doesn't need characters to say how they feel to know what they feel..

Grace Felicity Having watched all of the episodes so far, I would agree with those thoughts. The dialog is a bit heavy handed and blunt. Would have been better sparser with more delivered through showing, without the need for dialog reinforcement.

Ah I see , interesting. I hope I can see the episodes soon.

Surprised at how much the hard left edge on Emily's Skype footage popped out. Now I'm wondering if it was like that in the last one, but I just didn't notice it then.

Looks like it was the proper chalk edge in the previous one.
