4:19 For the role we needed at TE, Rieman was perfectly fine. We have receiving threats at TE in McBride and Higgins, we needed that guy to act as an extra lineman in 12 personnel for our run game. Rieman can certainly be that. Also think you're underselling our offensive line. Hernandez has been one of our top 2 best offensive linemen since he got here and Froholdt was fine at center last year. Left guard is still an issue, but there's gonna be competition between 3 guys for that job. Wilkinson, Brown, and Adams are all gonna fight for that job

It wasn’t the Tip pick that was bad, it was where it was and who else was available And yes I might’ve oversold the OL issues but the DL in the NFCW is insanely talented so I decided to make my stance VERY clear and have my concerns
@Red_Sea_23 сағат бұрын
@@HailMarySportsthe guys that were available that you mentioned were more receiver types which we already have. Rieman wasn't drafted to be a receiver, he was drafted to be an asset in the run game

@@HailMarySports we did have 11+ picks, very easy to address needs with some as well as get cheaper. Sure we could've resigned Jeff Swaim for whatever he wanted or we could draft and develop Rieman who is already a capable blocker and maybe he turns into an ok receiver behind McBride

Big Cards fan and I love your content, Alex. The Tip Reiman pick tells me they are planning to run more multiple TE sets, which helps with running the ball (Connor + Benson are going to eat) and it may allow Trey McBride to move around the field. I think Tip will surprise with his physicality as a blocker and can move the chains as a big target that can drag some players along.

Can you put chapters in your videos, specifically the mock drafts? That way we can forward through the stupid intro and sales pitches. No one clicked on the videos for any of that. All the big KZbinrs do it.
@HailMarySportsКүн бұрын
It is nice to know that me giving a summary of the content and saying hi to people and welcoming them is a 'stupid intro.' If you think like that, I don't think my channel is right for you, friend. For context, sponsors are how we are able to support making the show financially, so yes it is in our best interest to promote them. Plus, I only promote underdog since they treat me and my fans well. They are a company I stand behind. The rest is to send people to the socials. Hope this helps show 'our' side.

Great analysis. Bryce’s EPA was the worst ever? 4.0 I believe. Broadly this is because he plays the game in retreat, you can say well he didn’t have great protection, but in the NFL you’re expected to step up in the pocket regardless and absurd hits bump w guys, throw over guys. Bryce is physically incapable of playing like a Mahomes, Levis or Kirk Cousins. But that’s really how you win by playing moving forward, not backward or laterally.
@HailMarySports2 күн бұрын
Yeah it’s tough being short to the point that the pocket is not an optimal operating zone
@_GloryHolz2 күн бұрын
@@HailMarySports the problem w scrambling type QBs is once you leave the pocket your epa goes way down bc you shrink field. You need extraordinary arm strength to use the opposite side of the field scrambling away only like a few guys can really do it. Thats why every Super Bowl winner ever has had under a 5% scramble rate, EPA goes up as field widens and deepens.

Thank you for covering the Titans. First analyst I’ve seen w the correct depth chart. Teams are shifting towards Gap running, moving away from Zone run schemes, and passing more. We’ll be seeing more power 350 pound left tackles like Wirfs, Brown Jr, Latham, etc. The need for crazy lateral quickness is overrated you can just adjust your depth. Levis is going to have a Bortles year two 35 TD type breakout season. Scratch top 15, I think he’s top 8 now that the toe is fully healed. Titans have no interest in adding a power back, Levis will be used running on short yardage.
