where did you get your palace tickets? couldn't find a front of the line NON timed ticket. would like to find one that has front of the line access and no specific time. Did you get from the concierge? I can't find a contact for the concierge. Thanks for your help!

Great video, thanks for sharing! Your hotel in Papeete looks like the Hilton in your video, we were there couple years back. Heading to Papeete, Moorea, and Bora Bora Westin in couple weeks (mi-Jan.2025). Already upgraded to an OWV as Titanium. This Westin (previously Meridien) looks like the Meridien Maldives where we stayed.

You can look at the seat map, but can't predict an equipment swap. My upcoming flight SFO to HND is supposed to be The Suite, just found out it's not anymore 🙃

I love this lounge. Considering that I’m always flying United out of Dulles this is really the only lounge at IAD worth going to.

Oh man I would’ve freaked out if I got the equipment swap. I’m so sorry that happened. I was lucky enough to fly the sfo-nrt route in the suite back in August and it was so friggin incredible. I was the only passenger in first and it felt like a private jet across the pacific. Plus the food and drinks and service. Plus the fast pass! I was through and on the train into Tokyo like 10 mins. ANA is great.

Just got back from a 2 night stay using points and a certificate! The charges DID NOT CODE 6x using my Amex card. Had to call and create a case to have adjusted. I also had to use a non Amex card during check in for a hold, but was able to switch to Amex at check out.

Just flew Salt lake to Amsterdam last week..Not the Neo... sadly .( A300 30 )Service was sweet honest and sincere .... food sub par for bIz.. like really bad! . lay flat seats like a drunk tank... big thumbs down. Delta.. make a nice comforter those seats are like plywood !

have you ever checked out the airport limousine bus? I actually prefer it over taking subway or taxi now. it's like $10 and will take you to most parts of tokyo. much easier than carrying your bags around the subway

Good review, but if the food isn't all that great and not being a fan of cheese, I think it would fall on my list of business class seats I'd look forward to trying. If only the door, armrest and cubbies worked like they were supposed to work... 🙄🤣

@MandyRoams 80K. But I had 500K. So far I've booked about $10K worth flights and three nights at hotels on points and only about $1600 in added cash. All business and first, of course. That's Tokyo to Texas/Arizona and back through Hawaii. Except for the last leg, HNL to Tokyo. Still hunting.

They linked the reservations on the backend, so that the luggage went all the way through. i.e., they were able to label the baggage so that we didn't have to re-check it in LAX (since we booked it as separate tickets initially due to point pricing).

Thanks for the wonderful review. Do you recall if Air France A350 business class has air vent control above the seat? We flew AF 777 for the first time from LAX to CDG this past May. There was not air vent control available. It was warm in the cabin & difficult to rest💤. I enjoyed the “Froggie” dark chocolate!

I learned that they’re renovating their fleets. I watched your reviews on Delta. Any comments on their international service?
