Might have to fly to LAX, HNL, or CDG first, and then hop on a flight to PPT.

@@MandyRoams That's what I suspected, as I know you can get to PPT from HNL. I think Hawaiian has that route, and now with the merger from Alaska, that might be viable. I also have status with Air Canada and a lot of miles, so maybe ANA via NRT or HND to HNL then PPT with Air Tahiti Nui, because Star Alliance...

@@MandyRoams Air Tahiti Nui has direct flights from Tokyo to Papeete. TN 87. They use the same 787 planes that also fly to LAX. You'll notice that Air Tahiti Nui doesn't have daily flights from LA or Tokyo to PPT. That's because they're running the opposite route.
