After having your WEISS 290V for 4 years now can you tell us how you are liking it. What's the pro's and con's of this machine? What is you primary use of your machine? can it hold tight tolerances?

I watched this film when you first uploaded it. I have watched it many times since, and today I am watching it again. I think this is the most beautiful of all your beautiful engines! Thank you for giving so much pleasure with your craft, workmanship, and will add your artistry. These engines are sculptures in motion! Best wishes from George in Herefordshire, UK

This gentleman holds a lifetime of valuable knowledge that most people will never attain. The older generation needs to be respected far more than the younger generation and tranche of ineffectual politicians currently do. With the continued decline of our manufacturing industries, it will be impossible to pass this knowledge on, and the world will be a poorer place. Thank you, sir, for posting this.

Nice video, I just notice that you are a real enthusiast of this Myford, and that you also take good care of it. I am retired and looking for a Myford. Until now I have always worked with an AI (Hembrug) lathe, which has a hard ground bed with a prism bed, so tilting the support is not an option. But now that I'm retired I'm looking for something smaller. Have fun with your Myford. greetings from Rotterdam.😉

Folks need 2 be smart and do their home work since a lot of brands are using this same Metal lathe rebranded with their name and different color schemes and are selling them at really high prices

I had and old automatic diesel L300 1 ton van. I was always worried about a runaway engine. I'm aware that even putting a manual into a high gear @ a standstill & letting the clutch out will not nessirarily stall a runaway engine. Nice, smooth driving (& slow) van, but engine under the front seats gave me no confidence of stopping a runaway.

Really nice video, really like the idea of the feeler gauge at the back of the caradge, I'm just doing up a Super 7 it has a similar problem, this might be a nice fix, great idea 💡 .
