The governor driven wedge is a very elegant solution for fuel control. A beautiful engine. Craftsmanship.

Excellent first engine. I guess I should have just watched this video before asking a question you already answered. You have a nice website. Someday I just might have one of your little engines in my collection.

My very limited experience with hot bulb engines says that the bulb preheat is removed once the engine runs. Why is continuous heat needed for this one? Could improved bulb insulation change this?

Find, I love this engine, but I am confused as to why you call it "solid injected fuel", as if it were run on coal dust, which some engines actually do.
@TarenGarond7 жыл бұрын
The engine uses solid fuel injection(Used for liquid fuels) with the pump acting directly on the fuel as opposed to air blast injection (Used for liquid or "solid" fuels like coal dust) that uses high pressure air to "blast" the fuel out of the injector.

I was going to ask the same question.
@kevgermany3 жыл бұрын
@@TarenGarond thanks. But the term is misleading. I wonder if it's a translation/nomenclature difference between Danish and English.
@kevgermany3 жыл бұрын
Did some checking. This should be called solid injection in English, not solid fuel injection, which implies a solid fuel like coal is being injected.
@TarenGarond3 жыл бұрын
@@kevgermany Okay that makes sense, solid fuel injection was the term for this system that was stored in my brain(For some reason).
