Isn't normal critical hit chance is useless? I mean normal critical hit chance is for attack where you have to hit something, there is critical hit chance for spells which is well... Arc is a spell, not an attack or am I misunderstanding something?

Thanks for explaining this- someone messaged me on discord asking me if a steam account was mine- I asked them what business it was of theirs and they repeated the question, told them I was about to report them to discord for scamming if they didn't explain themselves immediately and they blocked me. It reeked of scamming, but I had no idea how knowing what my steam account was would help them.

So let get this straight. Just to get 2 ascendency points (boss 3), right? 1 hour of playing the game, focusing on this shit boons/affliction, room type mechanism. It is impossible to complete on non meta build (ca. 10 divine build) To farm 10 divine as a casual player = 30 hours of play. And it's just about getting two ascendency points to power up your build. I run a broken archmage spark build where I easily clear 8-10 level maps At the end, you fail? you get nothing but the feeling that RNG f*cked you up. This is madness.

Arc sorceress is totally my build. I prefer arc over spark

i don't see how builds like this are related to arc skills when they avoid increasing the damage through passives and focus on fire

What about arcan surge? I see it in your passive tree but i don't know where to place it

Thanks for this build! I started using this when i first started, moved to ball lightning warp, came back to arc. Sitting at almost 155k arc dmg. Gonna see how much more i can squeeze

Why no double Herald setup? I was going for a pure Lightning build, but after trying Herald of Ice, it’s way better in terms of clear speed and defense. With Herald of Ice, rares get perma-frozen, meaning way fewer deaths Plus, it scales with monster density, making it insanely good in Breach. I was struggling to kill rares before, but now, they just explode thanks to all the smaller mobs triggering Herald of Ice chains. It solves one of the biggest problems in high-density fights while still adding solid damage. Seriously, Herald of Ice is busted for clear and survivability with current balance.

How are you getting to 4k mana? I have the same passive tree as your build planner and nearly the same gear/stats, but am only to 3k

When mapping is also a good idea to work in a Headhunter of you can’t afford the big ticket items. It’s very cheep atm also :) Ty for a good video :)

I leveled with spark until unlocking some fun cold skills. Spark is just very un-fun to me. Crafted a fun but slow cold build that was great until i hit maps. Things just die too slow and the build is too slow to keep up with breaches. I'm switching to this immediately. I don't follow guides but I'm lost in the sauce with sorc

On your Morior chest piece what do you have socketed into the slots? I picked one up today and didn't want to put the wrong ones in lol

just tried zarokh for the first time, got him down to about 1/3 life but the screen was full of his bullshit and I ran out of mana potions

I've been following the guide since I started playing just this week, so thank you, it's been quite helpful, but I gotta say, you really are wasting points in elemental penetration. Let's see, ele pen does nothing beyond 0% resistance, meaning that if a monster has 75% ele res and you have 80% pen, you are only applying a "reduction" of 75% and the remaining 5% is wasted. But, the real problem is that ele pen is applied after exposure and a curse, meaning that if you apply a curse with 40% reduction and your exposure applies a further 51% (combination of nodes, gems and ascendancy), you are effectively driving the monster resistance to -16% at worst, and therefor, all your penetration is wasted. Now, for what I can see, you have 85% pen (55% on tree and 30% from support)... if you are casting conductivity on bosses, is easy to say that all of it is wasted since regular mobs don't come close to capped resistances. It is comfy to have some ele pen so you don't have to rely on curses, but that is a dps loss anyway, so i really think you should respect at lest the nodes on Breath of Lightning. I'm not sold on the crit stacking, seems rather underwhelming, It might be better to simply use controlled destruction and then use inevitable critical on orb of storms to activate the on crit effects from the tree, I don't know, needs testing, but obviously with higher investment crit is the way to go.

04:40 Clearly they don't give a fuck of casual gamers. Their main target are very young kids with no social life and no jobs. Not just the mechanics call for a slower gameplay compared to poe 1, but they even increased the size of the maps. 😵‍💫
