I am 77 and usually had a part time gig all my life in a music store. I remember the Jazz Chorus when it arrived. The consensus was at the price it should be a tube amp, LOL Nothing ever changes. I can remember the pedal coming out. Even then it was considered too pricey. It was still in the stores display case when the BOSS CE-2 arrived. The BOSS sold well from day one. I still think one is better off with a CE-2 or good clone of it ...Yes you should do a shoot out with the PastFX. As usual you are first to show all the really interesting pedals months ahead of many others. Even more impressive where you have the only review on the planet of a small company making killer kit. THANX for caring to do all the hard work to make the 'best'!!! It is a go to site for those that do not want to end up with gear that is second best or worse

Yes they’re technically the same (kind of) but practically completely different and can be used quite well together.

@@DarthPreamp no it doesn't realy make sense to mix chorus with vibrato since a vibrato signal mixed with an unaffected signal is called chorus.

how did you have the amps panned? seems like I can hear modulation on the left & right channels which is confusing as it should output wet one side & dry the other?

I just got this pedal from Guitar Center. This pedal sounds awful. The level control has no volume or overdrive. Chorus sounds thin. Taking it back tomorrow.

Just your opinion... I find it good and this comes from one who doesn't like this kind of clipping/distortion... Would be funny if you had one of those boss pb1 that is a very gimmicky useless pedal aimed for the fetishists.
