Imagine a Xenomorph dies and then reanimate into a Necromorph

I agree with everything in the video, even with the ending of it being a tie of them taking each other out. However, if I had to say who I think would have been the winner, it would’ve been the elder. If they had just stayed back and reattached the mask to shoot the queen with a plasma cast shot.

I think about this a lot. But here’s my pitch & just hear me out. The Marker influences all. The Marker will make lesser intellectuals murderers; but all the while makes tools of higher intellectuals. Meaning, they those people understand the Markers codes and they can build more. Isaac is the Marker killer. He’s destroyed several Markers & built one. I simply believe the Marker made Isaac too good for its own good. At the end of DS3 expansion DLC, Isaac yet again destroys another Marker iteration, that creepy fellow who looked somewhat crucified, had those weird tentacle things coming out of his back. What if Isaac and Carver are just both still hallucinating? What if the Brethren Moons still didn’t locate Earth? The games ends on a massive cliffhanger there, it shows the moons showing up. I don’t know, Isaac still defeated them all. The nightmares in the USG Ishimura, the nightmare continues on the Sprawl, the nightmare comes to a close on Tao Volantis. (Forgive my spelling of the planets name) I think the Marker made Isaac too powerful, Isaac is too good at curb stomping them, and he’s the Epic Tier 3 Engineer!

Amusingly, I compare Brethren Moons to the Life Fibers of Kill La Kill. Both nudged a lifeform's development. The Fibers need something humanoid for the Covers to fit, the Brethren just need something smart enough to drive crazy or fill with blueprints. They influenced life into an ideal form for their reproduction. They both use up a population for resources (power or biomass), and then they spread to repeat the process anew. The Fibers eventually wrap a planet, break it, and launch fragments to transport more Fibers to a new planet. I think the Brethren Moons fire off a wave of Black Markers from time to time.

Alien Romulus kind of implies two different ways to see the whole Xenomorph story: 1) First we had the Xenomorphs as the perfect lifeform but with an unknown origin. Then the engineers captured some to create the black goo for their own experiments. After some time David showed up and recreated a Xenomorph like species that might still be around. 2) It can also be seen as the engineers actually creating the black goo which later lead to David creating the Xenomorphs. In both cases the engineers added their own DNA to the mix. However, the second theory has the main problem that Prometheus already showed the facehuggers, a queen and a Protomorph or Xenomorph very early in the game on a statue/wall painting. I prefer the first theory since it gives the Xenomorphs more backstory without ruining the whole mystery about their species. Moreover, it makes more sense that some kind of engineer cult (or maybe the whole species) worshipped the Xenomorphs and tried to become like or using them

I'm on board with "naturally occurring" and David just recreated it via the black goo experiments. Xenomorph Prime is an odd idea, though. They're parasitic, so they'd need a host species to reproduce. (It's a well-kept secret, but the Puppeteers of Known Space/Ringworld need a host to gestate in). Unless there are conditions for eggs to gestate into fully-grown Xenomorphs? Maybe it only occcurs on Xeno Prime, and Engineers and Yajuta prefer it that way for weapon/hunting purposes.

The xenos in this movie were the worst from any alien movie, looked like robots you can see the piston actions in their movements, terrible movie, terrible designs, we need something new not something borrowed. This universe needs new players, new aliens, xenos humans and engineers cannot be the only races in that universe

Personally, I feel like it depends if we’re talking about advanced technology persecution would probably win, but in terms of like strength and endurance I think feral predator is pretty good at that I mean we did see him kill a bear with one punch, plus he’s good at tanking hits so if it was a hand to hand fight I think feral would give berserker a challenge

Honestly, in a lot of ways i see the aliens as the inverse of humanity. There is nothing cute and cuddly about them. They are extremely deadly. Human children are vulnerable but xenomporph babies are not at all.

Wolf 🐺 is my favorite Predator of all time, and I’m very loyal to the Predator franchise. Read most of the novels, a ton of comics and watched all of the movies. I’m in my late 40s now, however, I still wanna be a clone of Wolf 🐺 when I grow up. 🤟

I'll do my best to restrain myself cause I have a nasty habit of rambling but I always saw the assassin predator as a bio-weapon made by bad blood yautjas to help them fend off their more honorable counterparts with the berserker predator Mr. Black from the previous movie back then being the head honcho of essentially a yautja civil war, with the fugitive predator trying to deliver the suit to someone the yautjas respected like Arnold from the very first movie or the cop from the second movie but the bad bloods wanted that suit for obvious reasons. Does this make any sense, no idea, is it maybe thought provoking, possibly, but this is my writer's brain trina rationalize this bazar movie; fun to watch, but man is it weird.

You know, it never really gets brought up as a concept in science fiction. But Deadspace totally nailed it. "How would you know an alien species is advanced enough as a society that contacting it, wouldnt fundimentally change how it exists?" Lots of scifi goes with stuff like "oh when they develop some specific kind of tech" Or they work out ftl. Or something like that. But that doesn't makes sense. You can't actively monitor a planet for thousands, maybe tens of thousands of years and catalogue everything they're doing. Till they come up with a technology you deem as arbitrarily advanced enough to merit contact. Thats an astronomical (pardon the pun) amount of resources, time and effort. And you cant automate it. But in Deadspace. The marker can, because it only has to check for one variable. The marker just scans the planets surface constantly and if anything ever leaves orbit, it activates. Because yea, fundamentally. Nothing is ever going to leave the surface of a planet and exit its orbit naturally. We're not talking helium, or volcanic matter. Its just if anything of a sufficient size leaves slowly enough. Ie, a spacecraft. Then something had to have made that happen. Its kinda brilliant as an example of simple solutions to complex problems.

The Alien concept was much more interesting when it was an unknown life form from a bizarre alien world we could only guess at. The trouble with most concepts of an alien plant is they're forbidding deserts or dark places--easy to imagine, doesn't require creating a whole biosphere. But if the alien breathes oxygen something needs to be continually manufacturing it. Oxygen is a reducing gas, it reacts or combines with all kinds of things, why we use it for respiration as otherwise we'd all be sponges or lichen sitting in the same place. A planet with only a few animal species eating each other would be a relic after some catastrophe that wouldn't last long. So unless either a geologic process is making oxygen or it's an unwritten rule that all alien worlds have single celled plant life you just don't see most alien worlds wouldn't exist.

I believe the moons aren't who created the markers they're the final product probably made as a weapon against a different planet but it didnt just cause destruction and started absorbing the minds if the victims and then forced evolution and attacked the creators as food and then decided to make more but needed specific things to happen

If the brethren moons made the black markers and black markers are needed to make brethren moons then which of these two were first? That's a paradox and a hole in the lore.

@quartzskull8772 as much as human beings as they need ovaries and sperm to reproduce. No, einstein, the markers are arteficial and that's why it is a paradox.
