JARED: Here's a little bit of mental gymnastics I go through with my trades. As you recommend, I risked no more than $5-$10 per trade starting out. Once I went a month showing positive R, I raised my risk to what I make per hour at my job (in my case $25). Every time I take a bad trade or do something stupid, I look at the loss as another hour I have to spend at my job making up for it. I used to see it as, what is $25 compared to the total value of my trading account? Now, I see it as extending my time at my job. This is so painful! Thanks for the great videos and for PTS!

That's an interesting take and doing things. Here's another approach you can try. (If you want, it's what I do.) Only raise your risk, if you DOUBLE your Account. So if you start with a $1000 account and risk $25 per trade, you can then risk $50 per trade once you make $1000 or get your total account value to $2000. (Not saying to use these values. It was just an example.) Hope that helps and good luck! 👍🏾

Wouldn’t have taken the short at 32:00-ish, not because I looked at the future, but because I looked at the past. The double top resistance to the left was a good candidate for later support.

Def appreciate the emphasis on accuracy over ego-driven trading. (Too much of that nowadays.) It's all about making informed decisions and adapting to market conditions. ✅ I look at it in a similar way but without the MA's; focused on higher highs and lows. Personally, at that 32:00 price action I'd expect a pullback, but I wouldn't have shorted it. For a short, I'm looking for reversions to the 200, not the 20. I want to see price break down through the 20 then use it as resistance before I consider a short. Far more signs, including the previous strength and the previous high being broken, point to the trend continuing after a pullback. That said, great video, as usual! Thanks so much.

Very interesting especially trading under 200ma as that's where there isn't a lot of institutional interest, which really moves stocks. However definitely pointed out a few things and need to watch this a couple of times so its burned in. Great lecture
