I am Korean. Of course, I can barely understand English. But mcr makes you feel enough emotions just by singing.

Drawing the parallels between the 1920’s and the 2020’s and the current political circus that is Trump/MAGA and their blatant racism and sexism is absolutely BRILLIANT! Hence “taking no shit from the chulas… grabbing them all by the hoohas” … is fuckin brilliant.

Not being able to love someone else if you don’t love yourself is true for me at least. I’ve tried. I don’t know what love is. I’m 33 and don’t know if I’ve ever actually been in love. I put on a mask and pretend to be this person and never fully open myself up. I never fully trust the other person. I don’t trust myself or my own judgment. I go after toxic people. I do toxic things. Because not only was I not taught how to live in childhood, but the only person that showed me affection of any sort was a pedo, and gave me all the attention I could want before hurting me. It really fucked up my perception of love. And my last ex was a narcissist man who used me and discarded me. I’m taking a break from love because obviously my picker is broken and I need to work on myself. I can’t look at myself in the mirror without wanting to throw it. I hate myself so much. My mind constantly tells me your own parents hate you, how could anyone ever actually love you. And my parents hating me is not hyperbolic. I’m queer and they hate me for it. Even before I came out, my mom constantly doted on my little sister and gave her cuddles and said I love you 10 times a day, and I was 24 years old the first time my mom ever said it to me. I’ve never been wanted. I’ve always been either hated or abused. How can I possibly love someone else when I don’t know what that looks like or feels like. Sorry for rambling. I just hate that I’m like this.

Muse takes me to a place that I cannot describe especially when I need to clear my head of the shit the gov throws at us. Best band I've ever heard and seen. They make me want to start a revolution to make wrongs into rights for Humanities sake. Fucking legends 🎸🥁🎤
