40 years ago today I saw the Victory tour in Philadelphia @ JFK stadium. September 1st 1984. It was my first concert. I was 10 years old! I’ll never forget it. Loved the intro! Wanted to see this entire concert online for years!

I love how when The Jackson 5 were on Soul Train and being interviewed by Don and the crowd were asking for Randy.

No one breathes life into these brothers like you. Michael came, set the standard, and since then, the music industry has spiraled into reverse since his departure. The flair of the light, and energy has now dimmed, but Michael and the Jackson's universal magic will prove to be timeless. Thank you! 🌹

another fun fact the picture is of DR Demento when Weird Al Yankovic was in college eh recorded my Bologna in 1979 and sent it to Dr Demento and he played it on the radio and it was #1 on the Funny Five for 3 weeks. during those 3 weeks he went to a Knack concert. he snuck backstage after the concert cause he wanted to meet the lead singer Doug Feiger he introduced himself and Doug was like oh you are the My Bologna Guy and the guy to Dougs right was the Vice President of Capitol Records they ended up producing the song which began his career so the Pic is of the Guy that got his song out to the world the first time Dr. Drmrnto

I get goosebumps every time I see this Jacksons performance. Michael is undoubtedly the King of Pop, but his brothers are also very talented, especially Jermaine. I love the Jackson family! ❤️

Best on the dangerous tour, yes, including the way the band was playing that night. Everything about this show was perfect , for the dangerous tour. Now if you’re talking about BEST EVER I gotta disagree. Victory tour and bad tour (first leg) were just perfect vocally and even the way the song was played by the band especially during victory tour is just fantastic and closer to the original version. Still great performance here, voice is damaged and cardio is trash, but he saves it with the smooth dance moves and acting. 🙏🏾
