40 years ago today I saw the Victory tour in Philadelphia @ JFK stadium. September 1st 1984. It was my first concert. I was 10 years old! I’ll never forget it. Loved the intro! Wanted to see this entire concert online for years!

Moonspeaks TV, this is absolutely beautiful! I have watched this before but watching with you is so much fun! I wasn't fortunate enough to see this as I was back in my home country Sri lanka when this beautiful amazing show happened but now I'm in canada so I can imagine Michael was here with his brothers on this day, Im happy for my fellow Canadians who were fortunate enough to be to this otherworldly beautiful show! Best opening ever! So exciting! I watch this all the time just to see them appear at the top of the stairs and remove their sunglasses. I wish I had a photographic memory of when I saw it live as a little girl. Sidenote: I wonder why Mike does the voiceover for Randy when he pulls the sword from the stone?

The intro reminds me of this old Jim Henson movie my mom had me watch as a kid called "The Dark Crystal" & Randy was hot, I always said if i couldn't get my hands on Mike, Randy would be my next option...lol, And hurry up & finish that time machine, we gotta go...😆

I wonder why they did not perform a single song from the Victory Album.

I’ve heard mixed stories on this , the Victory album came out only 4 days before the first show and also according to an article MJ refused to rehearse or perform and songs from Victory . So not sure exactly what was happening behind the scenes . Most of the concert goers were there to only see MJ because he was still riding the success of Thriller .
