They look like mulberries that used to grow on trees here in Arizona till they outlawed them because of hay fever. We ate bushels of them when we were kids, Micro bugs and all.

I went to the yuba river today and only found a place I wasn’t aparrently allowed to mine idk was little discouraging. Didn’t look like private property and there wasn’t an active claim but there was painted rock saying no mining
