I would say the sky could've gotten more for Marina however they still did get draft capital and got rid of marina's massive contract. The reality is most teams would not have take marina for what the sky would've wanted except for the Sun because they desperately need to win this year or next year, the sky should've asked for Harris too but would the sun do that? Probably not. The old sky gm traded away all their draft capital to dallas for of all players marina, they overpayed in every way for her so there was only soo much they could do to fill the gap she caused.

In basketball, the team that gets the best player usually wins the trade. In the short term, Connecticut won this trade.

I expect to see the Sun in the finals. They haven't looked that good since the trade but it's only a matter of time.

I also think it’s pretty obvious Sky not making the playoffs Atlanta dream is 10x better then the sky and sky is likely to win 3 more games out of 10 while dream is can win most of they games left 7 guaranteed/should win games

I would agree that the trade was terrible if the sky was trying to win now but knowing they in tank mode the trade makes sense most of players on the team is getting released anyway

Watched this about a year later in 2024. Grace Berger has not seen the floor and Erica Wheeler is still a killer.....of any Indiana momentum. Lexi beginning to see some time and the big acquisition Katie Lou doesn't see much time at all. Christie Sides is still mucking things up.

There is plenty of room for both of them in the pros, and we will have a better perspective then. Just hope Buecker doesn’t face the same hatefest as CC (and her fans) has had to endure, yet she takes it with cordiality and grace and just keeps working her game.

I wish Grace Berger was in the rotation and Wheeler was gone. Mabrey couldn’t play any worse than the 3 position has provided so far after 26 games.

Actually everyone did their homework and the players all landed in the correct spots IMO. I don't see any misses at all with this draft I think it eas well done when you look at the needs of the teams and the personalities of the coaches and organizations. Think each team did a great job and will get excellent returns on draft selections.

I WAS watching that game as I have always watched Womens College Basketball. PAT SUMMITT'S OLD TEAM. I thought it was over for SC & when Cardoso made that shot, I came out my seat couldn't believe it. But when the put the Camera on the coach from Tennessee it look like she was having a Hard time Breathing.. Felt bad for Tennessee which back then was my favorite team because of SUMMITT &CABDACE PARKER. BUT I was so happy for SC as well, for I knew then they would go all the way & take the Championship. That was one HELLAVA GAME.
