Five years post production and this is still one of the best router table videos around. Nicely Done!

as a k1c owner ,you dont need those "upgrades". Just print a rack for your spools.

This is old, but I am trying to figure out why the long side is the 'right' side to reference off of? Seems to me it is irrelevant as long as both pieces get referenced the same. Is it because there is more chance of 'wiggle' since there is no way to lock it into position?

Amazing work! Glad I found your channel. Could you please tell me the name/brand of your router edge guide for you DeWalt router? The one you used in your buffet video, as well as the name/brand for your circle cutting jig? Thanks!

These are cool things and they could be done on my router table, but not by a noob like me.

I just purchased a K1c and used a few of your prints thank you. But how hard do you need to pull the wire to remount the the feed to the side ?

What size biscuit are you using for the 3/4" plywood stock as referenced from the long point of the four back-to-back 45* miter cuts?

May I ask have you ever tried 0.08mm layer height? If so what is your setting? I'm using this for my car that print in place.

i keep the filament on the back and prefer it there thank you. its not a real problem just yo preference.

At the end of your video, it looks like you ran the Pi dryer direct and bypassed the side spool. A quick video of dryer to K1C direct would be worth watching.

DIY is completely in the roots of Creality since beginning so its al right. They satisfy the most, who wants to keep it like that, or who wants to upgrade it

Nice system but way too many specialty tools that WE cant afford. Very complicated, there are much simpler systems that are just as good. But still a nice video and instruction.

The only thing I'd have to add is don't use denatured alcohol; there are no advantages, the only difference is you can't drink it and who'd want to have such a kind of alcohol!?😂 (Im just about to refurbish my grand-grandparents' end of the XIX ct. Thonet chairs...) 9

The spool holder is mickey mouse BS even with the clip. It's placement on the E3V3 is obviously an after-thought. I recommend one of your first prints be an alternative spool holder. There are many models available.

Got one for $199.00 They droped the price as low as ender v3. Great printer having a blast with it for this price range.

This is brilliant. I’ve been trying to brainstorm this very concept. I’m thrilled to find this video as I think it will really help me build this for my own shop. I may consider mounting my planer so indeed/outfeed are in the same direction as the side supports, so when planing longer pieces I can support the pieces and avoid snipe. Thanks so much for sharing this!

The problem with drying filament in a dryer like that is that you will degrade your filament. Plastics normally wil be tested on aging in the same way you will dry it in that dryer, you better get yourself a dryer that use silica gel that doesn’t heat up.

I wouldn't say those supports for the bed are unnecessary mods. Those supports should of been included by the manufacture. They significantly help to firm up the bed for when scraping off glue stick, cleaning with alcohol, etc

I had an Incra TS/LS for ten years before moving into a place with way less shop space. It had an attached router table, as well, so it would not have fit into a one-car garage, so I sold it. I bought a Laguna cabinet saw and a Wixey digital readout. The digital readout is easier to use, gives more reliable repeatability than the TS/LS, at a fraction of the cost.

Hi Guy, Great review. well done. I'm about to pull the trigger on getting one of these machines and I'm struggling to understand what m3/hr airflow I need to factor for dust extraction. Any extractor I get will be a mobile machine with the shortest possible 100mm hose length and will be hooked up as needed so will be literally a number of feet from the P/T. It won't be part of a piped extraction system. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide. Shane.

With Birch ply, you can do a right-angle butt joint just with screws! Expensive ply, but finishes beautifully, and does not split out.

As a rank amateur, I don't think I could do most of these with any degree of accuracy, but I love how beautiful it looks when you show the finished product. It gives me something to strive for. Thanks for the great demos.
