If Madeline Puckett had presented all this rich information without her sleazy side image of showing skin the whole image would have been a classic masterpiece. Unfortunate these corruption characteristics sticks out its ugly head. Tainted Gold Standard !

Ok, there is a kind of wine that is not longer available named “Clarete” in Spain, that specific wine is not longer produced because European Union regulations prohibit, the characteristic of this wine is created a “rose” like wine with the tannins of red grapes

@ I need to try whites a little bit different. I felt the Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru with more body than the Chablis the first try. Today, I can’t feel the difference (I like them both). Colors are similar and my sense of smell is limited. I am having fun 🤩

Well, for sure! In fact, we could also give that to Georgia 🇬🇪 and Armenia 🇦🇲 as wine’s original home :) but by the numbers, French grapes and techniques have created the modern wine consumption market. I only wish Assyrtiko and Xinomavro were more popular 🤤🥲

I have tested a lot of wines as my father is a wine importer. Without being snobbish I can honestly say that France makes some of the best wines in the world. The new world wines can be good, but almost never reach this level. But unfortunately the market is well aware of this so you pay ridiculous money for the most famous French wines. 😂 Blame rich people who pay for the brand, and who mix it with coca cola….
@winefollyКүн бұрын
Based on what you said at the end, I really do believe your dad is a wine importer. It sounds like you've seen a lot!

Almost never means sometimes they do. Even blind judges by the top French judges. See 'The Judgement Of Paris', 1976 I believe. Year after year for sometime many countries are represented in the top 10. France is not the only country with sun and dirt. Additionally, many French winemakers have been working abroad and training abroad for decades, so there's that.
@kenzeoКүн бұрын
Aside from that, I have been disappointed paying up for French wines, just as much as I have been disappointed paying up for wines from other regions. The game is global, plain and simple.

How about pairing any wine with the flavors you smell and taste. For example blackberries with a red wine which has blackberry aromas and or taste. No one ever talks about this.

Hey question, my neighbor that I use to take care of... Passed years ago and I have been trying to find this red table wine he would gift to me on special occasions. I do not remember the name however it was I believe a red table wine that tasted like concord grapes...... And at the time it was the only red wine that I could tolerate. It was sweet but not too sweet. Just have no idea what one. It was a lot of the red wines, mess with me as in turning my face red and blotchy.... Or that I just can't stand them to a city on my tongue. So I usually just stay with the white Zinfandel or sunset blush type. However, I would still love to try to find that wine. Cheers 🍷 🍷
@winefolly14 сағат бұрын
It sounds like sweet reds are your thing. Concord-based wines would be from New York, this is a great place to start looking. Have you ever tried Red Cat? Also, you might try a sweet red from Italy Brachetto d’Acqui. The brand Roscato is this Italian wine designation and it’s very popular

What do you mean by bubble finesse?
@winefollyКүн бұрын
Great Question! It's how the bubbles hit your palate and how long they persist. Try focusing on this next time you try a sparkling, you'll notice a keen difference between a wine like Prosecco (made in a different way) and a wine like Champagne.
